I watch YouTube on days when I’m not very active. It keeps me entertained and makes a change to audiobooks and podcasts.

I follow a lot of craft, jewellery and sewing channels such as the wonderful Bernadette Banner.

I also love travelogues and a recent discovery is Steve Marsh, from Montrose, who does a lot of journeys around Scotland in addition to Europe.

I did once get hooked on watching the 'flash' group dances - it's so funny watching people's faces as some anonymous fiddler starts to play and a single person starts to dance, then within ten minutes there is a full orchestra or band and fifty people dancing. The one I remember most was a group of Irish dancers who stomped a European airport into submission.

The dancers mentioned appear to be on wheels!

I watch You tube for its diverse and entertaining programmes. During covid, learnt how to use my ninja foodie to its full potential, Steve Marsh for his travelogues, Mahar Tousi for his news blog, although it wouldn't suit a few on here, Me Mes kitchen for a slant on SouthCarolina cooking, old films, into Sherlock Holmes, the traditional stories from early years. Travel with Gabriel. How to do things, how to clean things. You Tube is the most entertaining and useful channel available to watch.
