Good Morning Everyone,
A dark but dry start here in brackley this morning.
Todays plans are to get the bus to Bicester do my usual cafe stop , maybe a beer then do a shop.
I am expecting some parcels in post or other this week , so will keep an eye on emails relevant to them.
I seem to be more on the mend ,and able to walk without being breathless after a short while like last year .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning Mick and all. The sun is beginning to cast a rosy glow everywhere, so a bonny day to follow I think.
🤞for you today Mizuna. You always sound so upbeat and uncomplaining - you deserve good news.
It's going to feel a long hard week for you Grandmabatty. When I looked after my two DGDs I was amazed how easy they were compared to my own two boys and later my two DGSs. Respect to you!
Susan I hope you're achieving - and enjoying - your week of rest.
Today for me is a tai chi day and after only three hour's sleep last night I think that's all I'll achieve! I see we're heading towards full moon again.
Have a good day everyone x

Good morning all from Glasgow where it’s dry with a beautiful crimson sky.

The junk man will be here at 10.00. The mountain of no longer used bits and pieces will finally be cleared out of the garage. Another job ticked off. I am now on the hunt for a reliable plumber. All the reliable trades contacts we had over years have now retired and it’s all a hit and a miss finding someone I can rely on.

Best wishes to all for a pleasant day.

Good morning all - very still and damp out here in Essex.

Yesterday I had a very successful shopping trip to Chelmsford with my ‘old’ friend. We got quite a few Xmas gifts and had lunch. I wanted to get the teens some nice toiletries in Body Shop but the prices have soared, even with the Black Friday offers. So we went into Boots where they had 2 for 1 offers. Result!,!!! I must remember to take my trusty trolly next year, so much easier than lots of bags.

This morning we are travelling up to our Suffolk hide-away. At long last! We’ll stay a few days and sort things out.we’ve had work done so we must inspect the results and ‘pay up and look good’.

Mizuna- all fingers and toes crossed for you today. 🙏.
Good luck with all appointments and work being done .🤞.

Take care 🍁🍂

Morning from a dry S Hants, the voluntary phone was extremely busy yesterday, sadly we couldn’t supply drivers for all who needed them.
We came second in quiz after a tie break, free entry next week!
Floor washing today and cottage pie for dinner.

A somewhat late good morning from Suffolk.

I was inspired yesterday by the lovely photos of autumn trees and I’m attaching( I hope) one I took of the flowering cherry tree in our garden. Elder DD sent off for it when she was about 8,she is now 47, with tokens she collected from cereal packets with only postage to be paid. It was only about 18 in’s when it arrived but is huge now. Whether that is in part due to it being planted close to the septic tank soak away is anybody’s guess.

Good morning from Durham. I’m still in bed, having been awake until 4am - isn’t overnight tv dire!
Oven and tumble dryer repaired yesterday by a local chap for £70, I was well pleased.
Must do some 🎄shopping today. Mostly vouchers, from reliable stores, but it’s a start.
Best wishes to all. X

Good morning everyone.
Jobs in the house to be done this morning.
A friend and I are going as guests to a talk at the local Inner. Wheel. I can’t remember what it is about but remember thinking it should be interesting.🥴
As always, thoughts with those struggling or poorly. Wishing all the best day possible.

Marydoll

*Pitt*, I laughed when I saw you were having mushrooms tonight! 😉

They're looking at me and need to be eaten!!

Trying again to load my photo….is it me not ‘with it’ today?

RosiesMaw Tue 21-Nov-23 08:57:24

Goo morning all from dull N Bucks.
According to my Fitbit I had 4hrs 13 min sleep last night - and I’m feeling it.
Meeting D1 at J16 Hotel Chocolat later this morning - no doubt chocolate will be drunk and possibly eaten - oh dear
I am also returning some lovely comfortable and light Skechers walking boots to QVC- why? I walked through not particularly long wet grass when I took Rosie on her walk on Sunday and came home with wet feet. It’s not as if I was wading through puddles, but IMO “water resistant “ should at least cope with wet grass. Really disappointed as they were ideal in every other respect !
Wishing you all well and that today will be kind to you.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester. It’s dry and the sun is shining. We are off to the Christie as it’s i.v. treatment day.

Here’s Matt.

A late. Good morning from North Yorkshire. I woke at 6 but went back to sleep till 8.30. Oops! Low sunshine is competing with a shower!
Some crafting today. I have a baby jacket and a Christmas decoration to sew up.
The gardener did a great job yesterday but the paths are a bit muddy so I will try to get out to clean them off.
Thinking of you at the hospital urms and for your call Mizuna.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Mick and all from sunny Lancashire, currently 7°C. Good to hear you’re improving Mick.

Yesterday was a very grey and dark day and I just pottered about indoors. Today will be another pottering sort of day and more wardrobe sorting. If it stays dry I may go for a short walk. Usual physio exercises. I haven’t looked at my new Gaelic study books yet so I’ll do that later.

Hope there’s positive news for you MIzuna.

Beautiful photo Liberty.

Hoping all those who have been going through tough times can get some respite and find a little joy today.

Have a good day all and stay safe if you’re out and about 🌻

Good morning all from Edinburgh where I am on my way to my Pictish art class .
I remember the cereal with the free trees Liberty I think we planted about 6 but only 2 survived. One is an unusual Maple the other a cypress which is enormous.
My DS3 is 47. Another reason why downsizing will be hard.

I hope you get the op Mizuna

Thinking of you both Urms

I have faith that your performance will be alright on the night Ash

Have a good day everyone.

hollysteers Tue 21-Nov-23 09:47:18

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
I bought some new knee high black boots yesterday and I’m amused that I was wearing size 6 ankle boots, the new boots were size 8 and I consider I take a size 7🤔
My DD is busy furnishing her new flat in the south and we have regular FaceTimes telling me all her news.
I finished painting my Xmas card and will print it off. Not as many as in days of yore however.
Music club today so will have a warble warm up.
Glad things are improving Mick and hope you hear good news Mizuna

BT connection playing up so I am late to the party today. Had a great sleep after two unsettled nights away and am still not firing on all cylinders but guess my energy levels are not what they used to be. Supermarket shop this morning and must now focus on knitting sheep, a suitably sedentary occupation for someone a bit weary.
