Good morning from a chilly Bristol. It looks like you’re well on the way to recovery, Mick, you just needed a bit of patience after such a big operation.
I have noticed recently that the predictive text instead of offering me “bristle” now offers me “Brisbane” instead of “Bristol”! 😂
As pay back for a reasonable night two ago, I had a rubbish one, waking up a lot, finally at 0330! 🤬
I had a quiet day yesterday. I went to a fairly local shopping centre (20 minutes bus) to get a particular key cut; To my shame, I mislaid my upstairs neighbour’s keys a couple of days after she gave me her spares. Naturally, I had to replace them, one key was easy and local, the other more difficult, hence the little trip.
The plumber spent the day putting up my shower screen - it looks amazing. Not sure what is happening today.
DD is 44 today! I’m joining them for dinner. The in-laws will be there. Although really very nice people, I feel large, clumsy and totally inadequate and inarticulate when with them. Very stupid of me, I know.
I’m going to try and make a “sailing boat” patch sample for a quilt for the complex’s manager’s expected grandson. If that doesn’t work, I’ll do something “manly”…
I hope today is kind to everyone. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning Mick so pleased that things are settling down for you.
It’s too chilly and dark to get out of bed, but the weather forecast is for more cloud, just like yesterday, dull and gloomy.
My CT Scan results were good, a couple of things that need to be discussed, but no tumours (yaay) big sigh of relief. I was on a 2ww for Lung Cancer so all a bit stressful, but all dealt with in less than 2 weeks, all appointments dealt with by phone, very efficient, many thanks to the NHS. I just wish my cough would go…….
Dog sitting day today, MrOops is out so I’ll sit and go through Christmas gift lists and get some ironing done.
Have a good day everyone, let’s hope we see some sunshine.
