Morning all from West Oxfordshire. It’s always good to be home after a few days away. We are out for lunch today. Afterwards I/we have preparations for tomorrow’s lunch with old friends. It will be an early lunch as they don’t want to drive home in the dark. Hence, most of the preparations today. I must also check if I have all the ingredients for the Christmas pudding which I can’t mix until Tuesday and steam on Wednesday. Presents for my Australian relatives - I think I’ve got them all but they still have to be wrapped and I want to post them by the end of the week.
Have a good Sunday everyone. I’m sorry to hear that some of you are having difficult times.

Good morning from a mild, wet Cornwall, where it's quiet as the first bus doesn't go past my window until 8 o'clock. A very relaxed time with my granddaughter yesterday. She used my sewing machine to make a fleece sleeping bag for her toy sheep. Today I'm at a friend's up the road to make felted Christmas baubles and drink her delicious coffee. Then it's church at 4 o'clock.

Good morning from cold s somerset, rain forecast all day so it will be bleak as well as cold

Very good news about the endoscopy Susan

Up early today and I have just changed my bedding combo. It will be warm and cosy but a bit lighter in weight. Seeing my smart meter ramping up yesterday, I did reduce upstairs temperatures by half a degree, I was warm all night but the bedding was a little bit too heavy.

I think I will need to add some sewing to my activities today, I have three warm zipped tops to make by christmas

Have a good day

Morning
I have a question about friends who never want to come to YOUR house or YOUR event. It always has to be the other way around . My DH says it’s fine let it be but sometimes it’s hurtful to be permanently rejected . I seem to attract friends like this. I drop everything to go to them when invited but there always seems to be some reason they cannot attend my invites 🤷‍♀️Would welcome how one deals with this & anyone else sympathise ?

I’m glad you had a positive report on your endoscopy, Susan56, and impressed that you were told so at the time.

Good morning, another frosty morning here, it’s -2°.
Yesterday’s dog walk was lovely, sparkling frost in bright sunshine, warmly dressed so I could enjoy it.
I was restless for the rest of the day, I filled a black bag with clothes for the charity shop, tidied around and fidgeted every time I sat down.
I’ve been awake for a couple of hours so perhaps I’ll get up and find something to do 🤷🏼‍♀️
Hope today goes well for you all 🤷🏼‍♀️

Good morning from Shropshire.

Good results from my endoscopy yesterday which was such a relief.

Up early today as we are going to collect the children then meet DD2 and family at a Christmas market.

Have the best day you can everyone🌺🦩

Good morning from a calm and fine Torbay where it’s less cold than yesterday.

We were pleased to see a steady stream of patrons at the Christmas Fayre with some lovely children wanting to see Santa. I was touched by a couple of donations from adults without children “in case any child misses out on seeing Santa”. Heartwarming! Unfortunately, I was positioned between the external doors for the church and the hall so became quite chilly. On arrival home, I donned fleece PJs and onesie for the rest of the day!

This morning, I’ve been asked to play the piano for the first service as our main accompanist is unwell.
Wishing you all a blessed Sunday. 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Good morning from a chilly Bristol. I suspect it is frosty again but haven’t looked out.
Went into Bristol to get fabric and wadding for my latest quilt. Did my shoppers very quickly, then had to wait for nearly an hour for my bus - the one I wanted turned out to be a “ghost”. There is another I could take but the road near me is closed for 3 weeks and I have no idea where I would end up.
Church then fiddling about. I need to choose furniture for my lovely new space in the hall - for my fabric stash and bits, for large baking tins, for coats, shoes, books….
Ash, I hope you enjoyed “elfing” yesterday; Marydoll, hope your time with the littlest raised your spirits.
Have a blessed Sunday. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
