Got my moving date 18th Dec so will be in for Christmas. The most stressful part is changing addresse and dealing with virgin. It took 4 hours online to tell them I was moving.... unbelievable. Today I notified TV licence people in 5mins. I contacted my energy company who will hang onto my credit money until 4vweeks after I move .. so it will be January before I get it currently just over 1000 which would be useful now as having to pay rent on 2 properties until 31stvDec. Car insurance and recovery straight forward once I got through. Complicated process with bank too....banks are closed so no choice but online...chatting to cora!!! The way of the world now Adams. Oh for the days you rang a number, spoke to a person and everything sorted in record time lol

Congratulations! It will all be worth it in the end. Perhaps put a bottle of your favourite tipple and a glass on top of the packing and find out how to get pizza/curry delivered for your first night - you will probably be exhausted!

Congratulations! I moved to a shared ownership bungalow in April. I’m so glad I did. I love it! My one piece of advice - be ruthless and get rid of whatever you don’t need before you move. Makes life so much easier! Enjoy! 😊
