WhatamIdoinghere
My mum collected the 'Evesham' Royal Worcester tableware, and the months / days of the week figurines described above, and also 'Booths' willow pattern. I've still got all of it, but won't be adding to the collection because I don't have space for any more!
My own passion is for vintage Britains farm models - my toy farm was my favourite thing all through my childhood and now I search ebay for rare pre-war items. It's packed away awaiting for the day when I've got somewhere to display it all, but sometimes I will set out a layout on the top of a sideboard or on a windowsill.
Oh gosh, that is fab. My kids had many years of enjoyment from a Britainβs farm I bought at a jumble sale when they were tiny. I saw the exact same farm in a retro shop a few weeks ago. Ours was moulded plastic base with ponds, stables, yards etc and then you popped on fences, gates, buildings etc. there were a few farm animals but we bought loads more. (Plastic)
Thank you for sharing that, it brought back lovely memories.
