Remembering how mysisters and I would do a forensic police search of our childhood home to find the presents (we later discoverd DF kept them in his office at work), I decided that the bestthingnto do was brazen it out.
Presents were/are wrapped and labelled as soon as bought and placed under the tree or where the tree is going. We pointed out to the children that if they handled them too much and discovered what they were, it would spoil all the excitement of Christmas morning. It seemed to work.
We do nto have any pets and with DGC, they live a long way away and usually only arrive with us on Christmas Eve.
Family don't pitch in and help

. He has use of two vehicles. As long as he remembers which one is the hiding place all will be well!
Oh well there's next years present/s if they fail to be recovered in time.
