Already started on this one.
I resolve to go on decluttering my house....!

...and to keep better contact with people around me.

To write in my journal of personal memories every day before I go to bed - even if it’s only one word grin

Oh gosh. I could have written the exact same things

I don’t make resolutions either
Perhaps we should all make the resolution to aim to be here this time next year

Great resolutions Calendargirl. I should follow all of those!

My resolve? Not to make any new year resolutions until well into February.

Aveline

The last resolution I made was at New year 1989. It was to be nice in the 90s. Thirty years on I still haven't managed. Oh well.

Aveline, that made me laugh!

Mine is to take no 's@it'. Already started!

Happy 2024 everyone.

What a brilliant resolution kitty. I love fresh flowers. I've decided not to make resolutions any more - life is too full of ups and downs as we get older, so just to go with the flow, gracefully, will have to do! smile

Every year I make the same resolution. I resolve to always have fresh flowers un the hall (other places too but the hall especially) I have managed to keep it for the last 20 years.

I’ve made one, that’s all. Every day I’m at home I’m going to do one thing to replace, restore, improve or repair something. I’ve started today by using restoration oil on an old bentwood chair that came from my grandmother’s house and had been in the garage for a long time. It looks lovely, the oil has made a massive difference.

3 out of 4 could be my resolutions

This could also be my list, apart from having a husband.

Glad to know I am not the only dried up, lazy, anxiety filled, snappy old woman.

SueDonim Mon 01-Jan-24 12:56:10

…to make no resolutions. grin

Harris27 Mon 01-Jan-24 12:42:59

This could be my list😂

1. To drink more water.

2. To try and be more productive with my time, i.e. not spend so much time browsing Gransnet etc.

3. To try and not fret about things that probably don’t really matter.

4. To just be a nicer person. Not to snap at DH if he annoys me about something. To think more before I speak. To smile more and be grateful for my many blessings.
