I haven't bought any for ages, I did once these days I regard them as a waste of money. We get three with our Sunday paper, the Style one often annoys me, stupid clothes with stupid price tags. Magazines can be accessed for free through BorrowBox at the library, not the same as the physical version but often, depending on what it is, not enough content to justify the price.

That sounds a very savvy saving 62Granny as I am a massive bookworm too! I've yet to venture into the techo that is Kindle, but nearly everyone who I've spoken to who has taken the leap has loved it. Even the doubters, so who knows?

The only magazine I buy is the Puzzler. It keeps me occupied for many hours. It's £3.95 for around 170 puzzles so worth it for me.
Not interested in the glossies.

I take quite a lot, there are those that come wih organisations I belong to and then as a serial house renovator I enjoy house and interior magazines. It doesn't matter whether I can afford the house or interiors shown. Colour schemes, decoration ideas and much more. can be picked up regardless of budget. I enjoy the magazines at each end of the range best - Home Decor, Style at Home etc and the old and antique property end: Period Home, Reclaim, English Home.

The ones that bore me are the middle range magazines: Ideal Home. House and Garden, House Beautiful

It must be about 40 years since I last bought one.

Every time I buy one I am so disappointed in the amount of adverts and lack of content that I say never again, but eventually again I succumb.

Do you subscribe to Kindle unlimited? You can get a selection of magazines to down load for free with this subscription as well as any books on the kindle unlimited list also the TV magazines are included. It's not as good as having a paper version but needs must. The Kindle unlimited is £9.49 we month and both me and DH use it for our books and I have a selection of magazines,

Grandmabatty The Christmas Radio Times is the one I get most excited about too. Love going through it circling all the goodies.

No, hardly ever look at one.

Far too expensive for a load of adverts,

No I gave up on magazines a long time ago they are (in my opinion) full of rubbish well the ones I used to read are
The homes and gardens type don’t interest me as I would never have anything that could be remotely comparable

I don't buy any on a regular basis but thoroughly enjoyed The Radio Times at Christmas. I love a magazine about interiors but they tend to be very expensive.

I love settling down with a coffee and a magazine. Sadly, I can no longer kid myself that at almost £6 it is little treat. I've now taken to buying older copies of favourites (Cotswold Life, Homes and Gardens etc) from charity shops. Does anyone else need a magazine fix sometimes?
