Good morning from a chilly and windy Torbay. The weather seems to have forgotten that this is The English Riviera!

Yesterday, I helped the Props team strip and take down the four Christmas trees from around our theatre. It was a relief to be in a warmer part of the building and to have the chance to interact with some of our patrons who called in the Box Office as we pursued our task. Not everyone books tickets online.

My field of vision result at the optician had improved so I can continue to drive, at least until I undergo further investigations at the hospital, for which I’m awaiting an appointment.

It sounds like the funeral was a fitting tribute to your friend's mother with food for thought, Pantglass.
I’m glad your family gathering was so enjoyable, Taichinan.

Happy hump day! 🦩🥰❄️💐🦩

Aw Bellasnana.

Still below freezing most of the time, down South.
Mornings are worst. Not that much better midday.

I have to go out this afternoon. Hoping, like other days recently, it wont be as bad at that time of day.

Good morning from Malta where it looks like a bright day, temp around 16°C.

My usual day babysitting, one twin still sleeping, other one changed, dressed and breakfasted. They fill my heart with so much love it could burst!💙💙

Wishing you all a good day.☀️

Good morning all from a slightly less chilly North Leicestershire.

Our cleaners will be here at 8.45 by which time DH will have already have left for the gym.

I have little planned today but I am sure something will occur.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning. Cold here but no sign of flooding so far in our immediate area although the riverside hotel was rowing staff to and from work yesterday and the riverside main road closed and under water.

Karmalady. Please what is "bottoming the bedroom". It sounds very efficient and maybe I do it without knowing!

Hair cut this morning. Thank goodness. My lovely lady comes to the house but broke her wrist many weeks back. My hair has the lockdown look.
Keep warm everyone.

Good morning all it’s to be very cold , windy with wintry showers today here on the east coast of Fife. I’ll be doing lots of indoor tasks such as cleaning and tidying my kitchen cupboards which is long overdue . The house will be nice and tidy for my influx of family coming to visit.

Have a good day my friends keep safe and warm , 💐

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. I have just peeked out of the window and all is white. I think heavy frost rather than snow. We are supposed to go to Reading today and buy me a new mattress. My memory mattress has always caused me back and hip ache. When I sleep elsewhere this doesn’t happen.
This evening is the Local History Society. Just a five minute walk away. I can’t remember the topic but hope it’s better than last time when the speaker talked for two hours (it is supposed to be forty five minutes and then questions) and the audience were willing him to stop!
Have a good day. It should be spring soon. I spotted green shoots in the garden yesterday.

Good morning from a cold and dry s somerset, lots of sun today

I have set my living room to rights again, having finished the bag I was working on. I am enjoying my new-found hobby.

I did some baking, made crumbles and cleaned my oven

Today is going to be a not-doing-much day, I want to get on with my knitting and finish sleeve one. I will change my bedding and bottom the bedroom and give the kitchen floor a once-over, all before lunch as then is when I do anything remotely concerned with housework. I still regard after lunch as my peaceful hobby and relaxation time

Have a good day

Good morning all from another dry day in north Wales where the chamberpot ☕️ is already in use 😂

Yesterday’s sadness has been an eye opener for me as not a lot affects my 😴 but it was lovely to see my friend and her brothers reminiscing about their mum 🥰 and it’s a reminder that we should cherish our parents while we can ( I have a tendency to moan about my dad’s ‘foibles’ instead of being grateful that I still have him around at nearly 90)

Today will be spent catching up with all your bizzinesses and hope for a good day for all x

Good morning from a cold Bristol.
One of my night storage heaters decided to stop working. We are deemed to gaga and unreliable to have gas CH. It is new but its computer needs rebooting every 4-8 days. I could have done without this problem in the freezing cold yesterday.
Apart from a spot of shopping in town yesterday, I had a quiet day pottering.
Today, Spanish homework, some administration and the book group in the afternoon. I wonder how my choice of a Mary Wesley book will go down. It is charming, an easy read and unchallenging, but not “chick lit”.
I hope everyone stays safe and warm today. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning, it’s a very chilly start here in south Gloucestershire, there’s ice on the cars.
I fancy taking the dog to Westonbirt this morning for a walk, with a hot chocolate to warm up afterwards in the cafe perhaps? Not too sure what the roads are like.
I hope the sun shines today!
