When the OP never responds😬.

There seems to have been a few, very long-winded opening posts recently from new names (well, unknown to me).
Some get lots of replies and make no response, while others seem to argue the toss at every suggestion.
I suppose being annoyed/frustrated by the lack of response, is just the nature of the beast?

IMO it’s usually when the OP has asked for advice, but the advice she’s given is not what she wants to hear.

Then there are the occasions when the OP does respond, thanks people, says what she is going to do, and this is followed by numerous suggestions still coming in, even though her original query has been sorted.

I see threads as a conversation and sometimes the OP does dip in and out as you would if you had started a conversation.

However is it just me do others feel it’s a bit rude when the OP never comes back, particularly when they have asked for help?
