I'm an avid fan of digital games. Do you play any? Which ones?

I don't joserod but back in the late 70's in my first married home we had the ping pong game that somehow played through the TV. It was incredibly addictive and DH and I used to play for hours against each other.

I believe it was the first video game and we were considered very cool when our friends visited. We were surprisingly popular!

I confess I find all games boring, digital and board. I would rather whip out my kindle and read a book.

I play word games (not Wordle) on my tablet. DH joins in, some are quite difficult and it helps keep my brain sharp.

DH plays golf games, which allow him to visit famous courses and also enable him to build his own virtual course. It keeps him out of mischief!

I play bridge online. It is very addictive and something I play everyday.

I also do Wordle every day

I did Wordle for several months but I found it a bit too easy so I gave up.

Don’t do any now but my friend is obsessed and plays games all afternoon. Then she complains she is getting nothing done! 🤣🤣

Just wordle, if there’s spare time I prefer to read.

I play Scrabble, with my friend, just a few plays each day each, with several matches on the go at once. We’ve been doing it for years.

Casdon which version of Scrabble do you use please? There seem to be quite a few ..... I'd like to play it with my daughter in law in Australia (if that's possible!) It might be a bit of a long drawn out game though, with the time difference!

This is the one we use (Apple link as I’m on Apple, but it’s available on android too). I’m sure you will be able to play it internationally, there are lots of Americans on the game - make sure you select the UK dictionary.

Casdon Thank you! We'll certainly give it a try smile
I had a try by myself yesterday evening and was awake until the early hours because my brain was buzzing so much!!

I enjoy Wordle, Quordle, Solitaire, crosswords. The Merriam Webster vocabulary/grammar/spelling quizzes are entertaining too smile

Just 20 minutes in the evening when I get time. I'm sure it keeps my memory pretty sharp but I do them just for fun

Those early video games must have been so much fun, especially with friends and family joining in. I'm new here and can totally relate to the joy of gaming nostalgia. Nowadays, I find myself hooked on online freecardgames.io/solitaire/ card games for some relaxed, solitary fun. It's amazing how games have evolved, but the thrill of competition and connection remains timeless. Speaking of fun, I've had some great casino experiences with friends, where we enjoyed the games and the atmosphere. What about you all? Any favorite digital games or casino memories to share?
