People or folks?

Either. I'm happy to be a old person or an 'old folk'. Fogey doesn't bother me either.

Some people prefer "seniors".

But I'm happy with younguns and olduns.

I'm going for a senior's swim this afternoon. It's cheaper than for younguns.

I hate 'Seniors' it implies that we have to be more grownup!

I don’t like the word folk/s. Don’t know why but it irritates me.

I always think folks sounds friendlier but actually I don't mind at all as long as 'whatever' is used with warmth and kindness.
