Good morning from a damp Bristol. It’s due to rain on and off all day, but is milder.
Yesterday was a joy, having my two DGDs here for a few hours. They were chatty and very helpful. I have bought three sets of storage drawers from IKEA. They pulled out my considerable stash of fabrics and sorted them into colours (saving the ones they wanted to take home) and labelled each one “pink”, light blue”, “grey”, etc.
Their mum came to collect them in the late afternoon after having one of the remaining pancakes.
I hurriedly made some more pancakes as I had invited a few of the residents to have some, knowing that most wouldn’t have bothered to make any. Several came, and we enjoyed a chat over pancakes and a hot drink.
Today is Ash Wednesday, so I’m off to church to be ashed this evening.
I also have a residents’ coffee morning for which I have made some brownies, and the book group in the afternoon, our read was “Lorna Doone”. It is very long and detailed, I haven’t managed to read much of it. I suspect it is great if you like that sort of thing.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark and its wet outside in brackley at the moment this morning.
Yesterdays bus trips also turned out different, Bicester went OK , but i then travelled to Buckingham via villages effected by HS2 and EWR work , saw someone I had not seen for awhile .
But in Buckingham I was disappointed the cafe which usually does pancakes was not doing them as the person who does them was not there , I then returned home on the bus link from Buckingham .
as to Urine sample , they just want a clear one , they are aware of my health so would have spoken to others if it had been serious as to redness in the water .
Take Care,
Mick
