Oh dear! You sound very caring and so does your DGD!

Please share with her that I didn’t have my last 3 (of 4) child til I got married in my late 30’s, then produced two daughters and a son at 39, 42 & 44. She has so much much time.

Maybe get her to go on some solo (not necessarily singles) holidays and join some social or community clubs. I’m sure she’ll meet someone and one day will make a fabulous mum.

Failing this, she could have a baby alone, or foster??

Whatever happens she’s very lucky to have a grandmother who clearly loves and cares about her very much 😊

Sorry but if you are really real then Get over to MN there are many chats about such matters , some are ‘even’ older. It’s not a race and remembering the tortoise and the hare etc I’d say enjoy your life it’s not a question of ticking the boxes like sitting school exams even then some do it much later in life when it suits their self more.

25 is still young.
If she was 35 that would be a bit of a different matter.

Personally, I would suggest dating apps.
But I may get shot down in flames for that one.
I would suggest she is very selective and careful though.

Again personally, I would not suggest she only focuses on "getting married and having children".
I do know someone who sort of did that.
That maybe what she would like to happen, but is it 40% of people that are single nowadays?

25 is no age at all these days.
She should concentrate on living and enjoying the best life she can and things may happen.
My youngest daughter didn’t meet her husband until she was 30 and now has two lovely boys.
Middle daughter is 43 and has not met ‘the one’ but enjoys life, travelling, going to theatres and perusing other interests ( plus working of course) which she would most likely wouldn’t have time for.

I'm very surprised that most of her friends (assuming they are also mid twenties) have partnered up, moved out and in particular had children so young. Especially if they have a profession. It's extremely unusual in this day and age.

My eldest divorced son (when he was in his late 40's) joined a dating app and found the woman of his dreams. I class her as a daughter, she is fantastic and we love her to bits. They bought a gorgeous house together and now travel all over on their holidays.

In my era the 60's, we met our husbands at the dance hall but now things have changed and the dating app seems to be the way to go.

I think most young men in their mid twenties would be frightened off by someone who wanted nothing more than to get married and have kids.
Leave her alone 😔 and worry about something else.

My 3 DS were in their 30s or 40s before their babies were born. Their partners were much the same.

I don't think it's anything to be devastated about.
