Good Morning Everyone,
A dark but a dry start here in brackley this morning.
I have a few jobs to do at some point, one is to return my old BT TV Boxes, they have supplied a package plus address label to return them including remotes.
Plus later do another Wiltshire Farms ready made meals order.
I will also do my regular bus trip to Bicester as it breaks the routine up for me.
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from cloudy and damp South Lanarkshire.

Today is eldest GC’s birthday so DD and I had fun in a large Edinburgh shopping mall yesterday with two DGDs and one of their cousins. They all had Christmas money to spend and there was much indecision before final choices were made.

DD had booked a table for lunch for the two of us in a restaurant just outside the mall so we left the girls to go and get burgers.

Charity shop shift today then early evening visit to DD’s for birthday cake.

May all those ill or in pain have a better day today.

Good morning from Durham. It’s rained non stop for 24 hours.
Lovely day yesterday with DD1, but I felt guilty leaving such a lot of my lunch. Sadly, I missed DD2, but collected my card and flowers from her house. Both DGSs had done Grandma cards for me.
Coffee with a friend this morning, then something to return to The Range and a decent shop in Tesco which is nearby. Shout out to Bella23 - hope you are ok.
Best wishes to all. X

Good morning from a dreary looking Suffolk with rain overnight.

We had a lovely day yesterday with DS and family who came for lunch bearing beautiful flowers. I had not long finished arranging the bouquet sent by DD1 with chocolates.

DS came in his van with DGS3 to take home some logs for their wood burner. We had an ash tree felled last year and our gardener chopped it up,much to the delight, and purse,of son. Whenever he visits he takes home a load.

I’m out for lunch today with 2 friends from my taichi class of many years ago. One is moving to Essex so this is a chance to ensure she has a good send off.

Gingster hope your DD feels better today and also others who are feeling unwell or with worries.

Good morning everyone from Severnside. Not looking very nice out. I’ve nowhere to be so it doesn’t matter. I’ll do some washing today including tumble dryer.

I had a lovely time with Beechnutella yesterday. She always makes me laugh.

You made me laugh about your teams strength Pant 🏉

Have a good day all 🪻

Good morning all from a dull and cold start to the day here on the east coast of Fife.
I had the most amazing day yesterday, I went to church had a great time there meeting up with lots of friends, I had a lovely lunch which my carer made for me followed by 2 friends visiting I then had 2 FaceTimes from my ds and dd to wish me a happy Mother’s Day they couldn’t unfortunately meet with me, one was on holiday, the other lives 9 hrs away. Never the less I had such an amazing Mothering Sunday.

Prayers to those who have no such good times I am so blessed

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders.
Dreich start here . A shame because I had hoped to organise my 2 Helpers moving logs a felled tree up a steep slope to near where the log pile and fireplace is.
I went to DS1 for lunch yesterday. DBiL was invited too. It was the first Mother's day without DMiL so we shed a few tears. Her birthday and his this week so we'll take flowers to her grave.
The DGC put in an appearance and I've had an invitation to the next school concert.
I feel for you Grandmabatty childminding when you are poorly is no fun.

Have the best day you can everyone.

Good morning Mick and everyone from brightish and dry Carlisle. Will it last?!

Yesterday was an indoors reading day as the rain was constant, not heavy but enough to prevent any thoughts of gardening or walks.
Today, the usual round of housework and laundry, I like to get most of it over with before mid-week. There's some admin to do and I need to plan transport to the airport for a forthcoming holiday, problems with trains are still making travelling life difficult. I've a good mind to arrange a taxi transfer and hang the expense! Better than missing a flight.

Have a good day everyone if possible.

What lovely Mothering Sunday stories from so many, and I was glad to talk to both children and thank them for their flowers. Both too far away to see them, but absolutely the next best thing. Feeling under the weather for no particular reason and having a very leisurely start to the day in the hope that I feel more energetic soon. Hope the various poorlies feel better as the day goes on and the grey skies clear.

Good morning from a grey and rainy NE.
I had beautiful cards from AC and a really lovely one from GDs, they always write nice messages too. They gave me a set of handcreams and a pack of travel size ones which are great for the handbag. I also received a box of chocolates. They brought a bouquet on Saturday.
I had a quiet day yesterday with a phone call from DD mid morning. We talked for an hour.
SIL came during the afternoon and we sorted some paperwork, and decided I should get some shelf dividers so we can organise the folders into better order.
We cooked dinner together and then watched a TV programme while we had our coffee then he left to Skype DD, he doesn't like to be too late as she is one hour ahead in Brussels.
Hope poorly people have some improvement today.

Good morning Mick and all from cloudy Lancashire, currently 8°C.

MrB has been having dizzy spells for several days and is seeing the GP this morning. I will not be online for a while.

Good morning all from what is fast becoming the usual grey sky in Angus. At least the wind has subsided so it feels a little less cold - yesterday was perishing!
Lovely to read of all the Mother's Day doings enjoyed yesterday. Likewise here - DD and I enjoyed our afternoon tea at the V&A. Eventually 😉. I had left home early because I've had previous bad parking experiences in Dundee, but of course just sailed into a half-empty car park! DD on the other hand ....... But we got there! Compared to other afternoon teas I have had, this one was 'different' - full of Desperate Dan this and Basher's that! It was all very tasty though, I'm glad to report. And a lovely time of chat and laughter was had. I loved having DD to myself for a change.
Well, now it's Monday, and THings Need Doing, so I'll be off. 🤗 and 💐 to the poorlies with wishes for a speedy alleviation of all ills x
