Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but looks dry outside here in brackley .
Today will be at home as I shall be watching cycling on TV most of the day .
Yesterdays trip to Bicester seemed quieter than normal as to shopping etc.
Happy Easter ,
Take Care,
Mick
Grandmabatty, enjoy the Chianti!
Nice laugh out loud Urms, thanks😊!
Urmston with fava beans and a nice Chianti 🤣
Back from Mass, there was a Baptism this morning
Sun keeps peering through the clouds , l hope the rain stays away
Wishing everyone a lovely Easter Day x
Good morning all from the Scottish Borders on this lovely Easter Sunday.
Yesterday was so full-on with the DGC on my own. They are wonderful but so bouncy and busy. We baked cupcakes, made pottery, visited the local museum and painted eggs for rolling.
The Easter bunny came today. We sat in the garden and listened to the birds, identifying them with the help of the App; Merlin. I drank coffee while they ate little chocolate eggs.
I was invited to lunch with them all at the other DGP but I've called off as I'm still coughing and spluttering.
Hope your trip is enjoyable gMattie
Well spotted Urmston!
Good morning from a grey and cold East Midlands. I got a bit of tidying up in the garden yesterday in the lovely sunshine.
Happy Easter everyone. Stay safe.
Sorry, meant to say Enjoy your trip to Athens grandmattie - safe journey.
A very Happy Easter to you all. It's a lovely morning here - it really feels like spring is in the air at last!
Nothing going on here today, but Dancing GD and her friend are coming over tomorrow and we're going out for a meal. So today I shall relocate some dust and wash a couple of floors - and consume some chocolate!
Enjoy your Easter Day everyone 🌞🦋 🥚
Happy Easter from 11°C Sunnyside northwest coast. First time I have forgotten to change the clocks…
Still continuing my settling tummy process, but hope to do more today. I have a lunchtime recital this coming month and need to practise and sort out my intros.
Hope you have a good trip grandmattie and thoughts to all with troubles 🌺
Good morning from a sunny NE.
Slept late this morning when I really should have been up and getting ready for the afternoon.
DD and SIL are visiting and DS and family are calling in for coffee and cake. GD2 arrived home from France last night.
It was a lovely mild day yesterday so I went into the garden and did some weeding. I noticed that my Azalea has buds and is ready to flower, that was a surprise as the crocuses didn't even flower.
Have an enjoyable Easter day.
Good morning Mick and all from sunny Lancashire, currently 9°C.
Steam trains will be running again today with various Easter celebrations around the railway museum and the marina. It was very busy here yesterday.
Tomorrow we will be seeing family and enjoying a pub lunch. My stomach is very pernickety and my appetite is not large these days so hoping there will be something suitable on the menu.
Happy Easter, enjoy your day whatever you’re doing 🌻
Today I'm having the family and my aunt and uncle for lunch
I hope they don’t give you indigestion Grandmabatty!
🤣
Good morning and Happy Easter Day everyone from an overcast Northampton.
Had a good day shopping in Milton Keynes yesterday, safely returned my dresses to John Lewis, and refund processed almost immediately.
Lovely Italian lunch in Ask, .followed by a couple of hours browsing the shops. Came.home.with new.underwear, and a new summery nail polish. Tried on T-shirts and trousers in M&S, but they did nothing for me.
Hadn't intended buying new underwear, but took half a dozen styles/sizes of bras into the fitting room, one of which fitted perfectly, so promptly bought three of the same in different colours!
Shall watch the Easter services on tv this morning, then this afternoon am planning on cutting the back grass, before the expected rain tomorrow.
I have a shoulder of lamb for dinner tonight, which will go into the slow cooker shortly.
Have a lovely Easter Day everyone, and enjoy your holiday grandMattie!
Good morning *Mick and all,
Happy Easter 🐣🐥.
The sun is out at the moment and I hope it lasts.
Good morning all and it’s lovely to hear all about your Easter Day plans.
What beautiful weather yesterday - worked in the garden (tiny but still lots of work to be done) . Dh went to footie and I eventually completed my crocheted waistcoat. Thanks Mizuna.
An old school friend sent a photo of our class in primary school .we were about 7 or 8. It’s fun trying to remember faces and names. We all seem to remember different people.
Karma I’ve read Lessons in Chemistry for both of my book clubs. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Liberty that leg of lamb will be delicious.
GM enjoy your holiday.
Wishing you all a lovely day ✝️
Good morning and a Happy Easter to you all 🐣
Remind me never to do a slow overnight roast in the warming/slow one , somebody please?
Poor Rosie’s sense of smell and her tastebuds must have tormented her all night and she had me up at 2 hourly intervals to check that it wasn’t time for food!
Garden patrols too (no Easter Bunny, no tinies) so I feel a little ragged round the edges.
Got up early (hah) and prepared my HCB and Butter pudding to cook closer to lunch time.
Wishing you all a lovely day 🐣
Morning from a grey but dry S Hampshire, it was glorious yesterday and I had a good tidy up, de cobweb and clean in my greenhouse. I also sorted seeds out and I’ll start sowing over the next couple of days.
I’d like to visit the sea today, but so will everyone else, sitting in traffic isn’t fun.
I hope your anxiety passes gMattie and you have a lovely time.
Enjoy your Easter Sunday all.

Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny mild Carlisle
It was the same yesterday...I went out and planted a few of my purchases from the garden centre. The sun was hot on my back, I had to tear myself away and sit after a while, I get carried away and later realise I've overdone it.
One previous buy, a small creeping alpine, has got out of hand in my gravel garden and is threatening to infest everything everywhere. It sends out long runners which root down and have even penetrated my weed control fabric. I hauled a lot out and then reluctantly resorted to the weedkiller. It should be a crime to sell it!
Today, more carefully timed and paced work in the garden. I may put my potatoes in. I could go for a walk but there's now a list of things to get on with outside.
Have a lovely trip grandMattie and wishing everyone a great day and lots of
Family still dormant so don’t yet know that the boiler has packed up. Immersion heater on so short showers possible but must hope the house isn’t too cold - would be a bank holiday weekend, of course! Church and later a friend is joining us for dinner which DD and DSiL will cook so a nice if possibly chilly day ahead.
Another lovely sunny start to the day - definitely lifts the spirits.
I also had a challenging time in the theatre Greyduster. Being a children's show it was mercifully short. It was also very manic & very loud. The theatre - it's very large - was full & the children loved it. Lots of enthusiastic 'audience participation'. I loved that the children loved it but was very glad to eventually get home to some peace & quiet.
No plans for today, will just enjoy the sunshine.
Wishing you all a peaceful Easter Day.
Good morning all, wishing you all a peaceful Easter Sunday.
We are having a wonderful but busy break away, we are fortunate to have all our family together here including my sister and her little family.
The Easter Bunny has visited and we have eight very happy children 🐣🐇
Good morning from a dull and dry Suffolk.
Off to DS’s later. He is smoking a leg of lamb we understand. Since he asked for,and got,a smoker as a present a couple of years ago, he loves the chance to use it…..chicken,fish but not lamb before I think. The wood he is using at present is cherry.
Hope all have a peaceful Easter Day,free from pain and worries for those suffering.
Good morning from bright and chilly South Lanarkshire.
I too missed the vigil stilllearning, it was going to be just too long for me but I’m off to Mass this morning then home to laze about and eat the chocolate which I’ve been looking forward to.
Happy Easter everyone, enjoy your day however you are spending it.
