Just as an antidote to the beautiful sad ones on the other thread.

Time to confess - I quite like the Macarena. blush

Dancing Queen

Thank you for the music reminds me of my friend Andrew.
He had a bloody awful voice but insisted on singing.

That was played at his funeral.

I saw a mouse! Where? There on the stair! Where on the stair? Right there!
A little mouse with clogs on, going clip clippety clop on the stair.

As we were in the car on the way to the hospital to see our new granddaughter for the first time, Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder came in the radio. She was (and is) lovely smile

I just called to say I love you.

I don't like the song, but remember my girlie standing (holding on) and swaying along to it. smile

You'll never walk alone.

My husband was in hospital abroad and as I walked down the corridor to his room I could hear this coming out of all the other rooms. I got to my husbands room and said "Would you like the T.V on .. Liverpool is playing". I don't know what cheered my husband up most; the fact that there was football on TV or that somehow I, definitely not a football fan, had worked this out.

Yes, Liverpool were playing the local big name team.

These are children's songs. British Light Music is light classical music. Here's another, can anyone remember the radio programme this belonged to? It's a train of course.
British Light Music - Coronation Scot

Volare by Dean Martin. I can still see my mother dancing round the kitchen to it in the late fifties.

Anything by Andrea Bocelli.
