Yes, O level and A level geography, which my husband calls 'world colouring in'!
Fortunately I also did several other A levels that were of a lot more use than geography. I wish I'd chosen history rather than geography, but our Head of History was a horrible woman, and that put me off the entire subject. Well, that and the Peterloo massacre!

My worst subject, Juggernaut apparently, although I enjoyed it and got an 'O' level 😁
I do surprise myself answering quiz questions on TV though, so
something must have sunk in!

We’ve lived in our bungalow for over 25 yrs, we’ve never had any damp issues. It’s solidly built, double glazed, cavity wall insulation and insulation above the 2 upstairs bedrooms.

Maybe new bungalows are the same as a lot of new houses, poorly built? And so are liable to get damp patches.

I always sleep with the bedroom window open summer and winter. I don’t like a musty room and prefer a cool room

My daughter went to boarding school. All the ground floor bedrooms had pull alarms, like those in disabled toilets. No one needed an alarm in the 4 years she was there.

Trickle windows open all year in our bungalow on DH's insistence. We do have windows open in the Summer in our bedroom, and I usually get up early and open as many as I can during really hot weather.
When he's away I have a hockey stick by the bed - old habit from when we lived in a ground floor flat in London, never had to use it.

No where is safe these days

Who can get through a top window? Sure a side window open I can see the danger in that but a small top one?
Fresh air aids sleep.
