Discovered this morning that you can now register for 8 points rather than 3 for every pound spent if you are over 60. It is called Advantage card Diamond Club 🙂

But it's difficult to spend them!

I never have a problem spending Advantage Points, actually I do not have a problem spending full stop 🤣

Can’t say I have any trouble spending them! I’ve had the 60+ bonus points for ages now, and the points do really mount up.
I don’t buy much make up/skin care, but when I do it’s usually No. 7 - when there’s a 3 for 2 offer, if possible!

Also a fan of their Cucumber cleansing wipes - just £1 last time, IIRC.

I had enough points at Christmas to buy an £85 fragrance. I can't find this Diamond card though. Do you have to sign up or are you automatically transferred to it if you're over 60?

You can't use them in part exchange as you can with other shops to reduce your total bill.

You have to go into a shop and buy something for the full amount on the card or less.
If you bought something online for the amount on the card then you'd have to pay postage.

I've looked on the Boots site and I can't find any Advantage Club Diamond Club at Boots eithersad

I still can’t find my Advantage card as there was an offer yesterday that I wanted to buy. However I can get onto the site today which I couldn’t yesterday: it really is one of the worst sites I’ve ever used. Maybe it crashes every Tuesday when they have their special offers? I buy lots of Boots stuff online these days; I’m sure that, if you spend over £20 it’s free postage.

Oh thank you. It's the over 60s rewards which I've already got.

Yes, it's not good.

I tried to follow a link to a special offer and the site crashed - not only that but I got a threatening on-screen message banning me!! 😂

I think you have to spend £50 to get free postage and I've only got about £15 (I'm sure there should be more but their systems are dreadful).

Look for Advantage Card for Over 60s - can't find any mention of a Diamond Club confused

I think it just mentions over 60's, it was only when I got the confirmation it said Diamond Club.

Was told about this, when I applied for a replacement card couple of years ago. It is not difficult to spend your points either. Sometimes asked if I want to use them, or I ask how much, although easily checked on the app.
