I worry a lot about everything, I’ve been caught out about a new kitchen which had so many problems never put right and guttering that wasn’t cleaned when I paid for it, so doubly cautious. Therefore I would go for Webuyanycar. I’ve found out I am no judge of character dealing with workmen,, my son says I’m too trusting.

When DH died I sold the car back to the dealership, it was quick and painless as they had done all the services and insurance. They turned up at the house filled in paperwork, put on trade plates and were off, money was in my account the next day.

Rubysong, I can only say positive things about webuyanycar.
I don't drive and when DH died last year l needed to sell our car, they were really fair and l got more money than l expected.
The process was really easy and the money was in the account the next day.

That’s what I thought Callistemon21. Then, when it was gone, it was gone - no disgruntled buyer in a few months time or worries that it had been properly insured, or that I was assisting money laundering, etc.

I thought they might try to knock the price down too much, Georgesgran but they were very reasonable when DS sold his through them.

Better than selling through Facebook, I think, there are lots of scammers around.

Have you thought about ‘webuyanycar.com’? All done in one go - and you can get a rough estimate of what you’ll get before you take the car to them.
Granted, they’ll knock the price down for scratches and dings, but it solves the problem of time wasters and tyre-kickers.
It’s what I did with DH’s 4x4 after he died, as I couldn’t face selling it privately.

I've just advertised my car on Facebook and I am worried about possible scams. Any advice? I shan't let anyone take it for a test drive alone and will need to see the money in our account before it leaves me. What else should I think about?
