Do I ever erupt like a volcano? No, never.
Almost the same here.
But I did once, over the state of a DD’s room and really yelled her out.I was worried at that point over money and my Nan had just died.I never did it again.
I just did. Earlier this evening, everything got on top of me. All of a sudden I realised all the things I was doing for other people and couldn’t think of anything that other people were doing for me. Out of the blue I exploded. I think I probably said the F word about 50 times. That is almost 50 times more than I have ever used it in my life. I have worked out how to calm myself down and move on. I just wanted to ask if anyone else had ever felt that angry and if so what do you do?

Daddima a good reminder 🙂

It sounds like you had a "wake-up call" from your inner self. Ever hear of the primal scream? We can get to the point where enough is enough and it just may be a message from the universe that it's time to reexamine your priorities. As women, we tend to put others first but SELF CARE is so necessary to our well-being. Learn to say "no" if you're neglecting your own needs. You can practice in the mirror or as you're going down the road in your car. I've done it. There are so many ways to say "No, thank you" or "No, maybe another time" or "No, I can't do that right now," etc. If others are taking you for granted it is because you haven't set boundaries with them. Be honest with yourself and others. You are worthy! Love yourself and then love on others.
What a great comment😃
beautifully put.

I think most people now are horrible, it's rare you meet anyone who is genuine.
I think that is a ridiculous thing to say. Most people now are not horrible, they are as nice and friendly - or unfriendly, as they have ever been. If you find your self thinking that everyone is horrible it is probably time to look in the mirror and sit and think about why that might be.I think most people now are horrible, it's rare you meet anyone who is genuine..
Not in my experience. I find your perception of life quite sad. A sweeping statement, if ever there was one.
There are many kind posters here on GN, let alone the rest of society.
I am reminded of the traveller who, upon entering a village, asked of an old man,
“ What are the people like here?”
“ What were they like in your last village?”
“ Oh, they were lovely, friendly, kind and helpful”
“ Well, I think you’ll find them much the same here”
Soon another traveller came along and asked the same question.
“ What were they like in your last village?”
“ Nasty, horrible, unfriendly people who wouldn’t do anything for anyone”
“ Well, I think you’ll find them much the same here”.
Indeed Marydoll.
Your responses show how unhappy you are. There is no need to be unpleasant.
Posters were not intending to be mean grannies, but were suggesting that not every one is awful in life, despite your personal outlook.
I suspect you are a new poster, who doesn't know anyone and is unaware of the kindness and support shown on this forum towards others. You have no idea of other's circumstances.
I hope your situation improves.
I was actually responding to the lady with bipolar, I quoted her post if you actually read it.
I wasn't expecting the mature grannies version of the "mean girls" to turn up on a bus. Honestly, don't ever offer to do charity work or offer anyone a listening ear because you've got no insight into anything of value.
Thank you to the 2 ladies who replied kindly and offered advice, I appreciate you taking the time.
The others are just pompous airheads - Mirror Mirror indeed - don't go cracking too many
I have always been laid back to horizontal status. Hate people who are bad tempered. That includes husband and sister. Both calmed down recently as they are coming to realise that chilled is so much easier.
Used to but as I have got older I’ve realised once you get angry you’ve lost control of the situation and I’d rather be calm, I find it works better for all concerned

BoingI'm so sorry , it was me who originally quoted you . I wanted to show sympathy & support as the world sometimes does indeed seem unfriendly. In doing so I think I have made you feel a little worse which was truly not intended. Apologies for causing this
When I was a teacher with a new class I was very nice with them and would pretend to hear a naughty child in the corridor. I’d go out and blast them to smithereens at a hundred and fifty decibels. I’d return and say, ‘oh! Sorry about that. Child out of order,’ in a very quiet, pleasant voice. The shock on their faces! I’d usually have no trouble at all after that.

I quoted a statement without saying who said it quite deliberately, to seperate the statement from the author so that my comment should not be seen as a personal comment.
It is a comment many people make and my response is always the same.
The fact that one respondent thought that the original comment was being made by me, shows that other people did not see it as a personal comment on someone else.
No-one is dismissing your or any other person's experiences, Boing.
It was you who said, that you think most people are now horrible. I felt sad for you, that this is your outlook on life, nothing else.
You can't dismiss other people's experiences by paying them derogatory comments - there's really no need to be horrid - some of you have just proved my point.
Did I say people on here were horrible - no I didn't.
Extracting bits of people's posts & reposting them adding your own snide comments is bloody horrible behaviour.

That’s the third to me anyway, unnecessary “bump” I have seen today!
Why?
“Bumping” is designed to bring a thread which has drifted off the Active conversations page back to our attention. Not 30 minutes later!
As annoying and boring as the spammers- at least you can hide them.

Please try to see this differently Boing, most people really are kind and would want to help others. I will admit it's very hard if you've had some nasty experiences to 'keep up the friendly vibes' but it's worth it (and you'll make someone else feel better too)
The worst word in the English language - I get sick of hearing it on TV and, unfortunately, everywhere! To me it suggests violence. 🥺
I am going to erupt like a flipping big volcano if these spammers continue 🤬
