Good Morning Everyone,
Its a blue sky start to the day here in brackley this morning.
For me a busy day , will do my usual bus trip to Bicester this morning , returning early to watch some cycling on TV .
And mid afternoon I am going on a coach trip to see Sister Act in London starring Beverley Knight , before returning home in maybe early hours tomorrow .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from a gloriously sunny South Downs.

Fish man arrived yesterday delivering the months fish. He comes in his wellies, and the fish depends on what he could catch that night or the day before. But a nice variety, including hake, brill, bass, monk fish etc. I also ordered salmon and prawns. He wraps them individually for me and labels them, so they go straight into the freezer. Sometimes I get lucky and there is turbot in the delivery or Dover sole.

Not sure what we are doing today. We mentioned going out for lunch, but I forgot to book and the country pub we mentioned gets so booked up. We could try somewhere different I suppose. Might also have a wander around Wakehurst.

The starlings are clearing all the food in the garden like mad so it won’t be long before the mad noisy fledglings are swamping everything. I have to put a feeder into the holly tree for the tiny birds otherwise they don’t get a look in.

I want to plant up a spring garden for stony Duncan. He is sat amongst the primroses at the moment, but they do need splitting so I’ll take that opportunity and replant and plan plants and bulbs that will hopefully flower in early April. Our previous dear Westie - Thomas - has a bed of snowdrops and cyclamen Coum - for early February.

Time for a cup of tea!

Enjoy your day all

Peace and harmony to our world.

Good morning from a sunny day here on the Essex coast.
Food shopping first thing then DH has a hospital appointment.
His eldest DGD becomes a teenager today, we shall call in later to wish her a Happy birthday.
My eldest two DGD's sit their first GCSE today, fingers crossed 🤞 for them both.

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. I think it’s going to be warm.
Coffee with friends this morning. They will give me instructions on feeding their fish (indoors and out) while they are on holiday for the next two weeks.
OH is still very anxious about his bees, so will visit them today.
Have a good day.

Lovely morning, calm and sunny, though not forecast to last all day, so time in the garden first thing I think. Nothing scheduled so I can please myself. Hope Blue Sapphire has a good journey home after such a splendid cruise, that Ashcombe has as good an experience and that Marydoll has a good day with Babydoll. It’s just a lovely May morning.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. 20° today and summer clothes on.
Bedding is in the machine and will be line dried.
I have ironing to do and a walk into the City to pick up some sandals that I ordered.
Love to all 🦩x

Good morning from Durham, where another dull, but warm day is forecast. DD2’s towel wash is out to dry. She has a hospital appointment today. First time this year for coffee outside yesterday! A lovely walk with Little Dog last night - I was entranced as the barn owl flew right over my head.
Coffee this morning with a friend at a local garden centre then I’ll walk the dog and take him home mid afternoon.
I should list what to pack for my holiday on Sunday - trying to travel lighter(er).
Best wishes to all. X

Good morning from sunny Spain, it’s 20 degrees in the shade and at the moment no breeze, it’s a chilly breeze so I usually get a woolly on, MrOops thinks it’s a nice breeze and is in the unheated pool most of the time doing exercises, good for his back and neck. I sit and shiver with all my clothes on.

MzOops is at home with MissOops, let’s hope they don’t argue too much and fall out.

Anyway, lovely to hear all of your activities, cruises and days with the GCs.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning from brilliant sun in S Hampshire, as I waved Ash out I shall wave BlueSapphire in, how lovely to share these cruises, thank you both.
I had a busy day yesterday, today is potting on veg, planting up containers and the start of chauffeuring Imogen through her GCSE weeks.
Enjoy your trip Mick

Good morning from an overcast NE.
Had another disturbed night with this irritating cough.
Yesterday was spent sorting clothes for my holiday, I get tired easily so had to have frequent breaks.
Looks like the weather is warming up so will paint my toenails in readiness for the sandals.
Everyone seems to have such busy days, lovely to hear all about the activities.

Good morning Mick and everyone from overcast but brightish Carlisle.
Yesterday I managed to get the ironing done then it was off to the surgery for a thorough examination by one of the nurse practitioners. The result was antibiotics for a chest infection and I am to dose myself with my supplies of cinnarizine for the swirly head. It's the latter that's the problem for me, it makes my travel plans worrying not to mention the unpleasantness of it.

Today I must go out and plant my runner beans, they are rocketing away. Then some sorting of clothes is overdue.

I am very envious of your fish man Wwm...if only I could lay my hands on some brill and turbot, 2 of my favourites. Even when I lived down on the coast, I couldn't get a decent supply of fish as it was all sent away to dealers and restaurants.
Incidentally, a former neighbour was a keen sea fisherman and occasionally we were given some of his catch. Fish straight from the sea was a revelation! Such an improvement on, say, a piece of cod from the fishmonger's slab.

Wishing you all the best possible day.

Good morning Mick and all from cloudy Lancashire, currently 13°C.

MrB and I are going shopping for new armchairs this morning. We each have our own needs and it isn’t always easy finding something that suits both of us.

Wishing you all a good day 🌻

Sar53 happy birthday to the new teenager 🎂 and fingers crossed for your GD’s taking GCSE’s. It’s a worrying time for all, our GS has started his GCSE’s 🤞🏻
