Why do they post these things - does anyone actually make contact? Seems as soon as admin delete them they re-post

We do seem to be up against it again don't we.

I think the only reason they do it is to piss people off…

I was thinking they are using a bot or AI but by advertising abortion pills on a site for grandparents doesn't indicate much "intelligence"!

There are some "spammers" here on Grasnet ..

The other day, I had a post on "What´s for Brunch or Lunch" from a fanatic extremist preaching !

I contacted the Grasnet Administrator and asked to have that post removed.

It was eliminated very quickly.

These spammers are all over the net and especially Facebook.

It is horrifying and one must be well aware and protect themselves, especially if using a mobile.

I use "desk top" for most of my work .. So, I do not have too much contact with this problem however, I also block unknown mobile and / or telephone numbers !! Can be very dangerous ..

Take pre-cautions. Better to eliminate and block than to be sorry.

Many are IT students and trainee scammers practicing their skills. The same sort of people who insert brilliant recommendations on various sites to bump up the approval ratings. Trust Pilot used to have a lot of those, as do various Chinese shopping sites.

Oh I think we are all used to them, bored by them and simply scroll past.
BTW nobody has “ownership” of a thread @ FGIS even if you started it.
Ignore and scroll past, report then move on again.
They are easy to spot and just as easy to ignore.
