I’ve just spent most of the afternoon setting up my new PC as the ‘old’ one died. I’ll be pretty cross if it turns out to be my last day!

It’s now evening. I’m not sure if I have made the most of the day, I tidied round, did a bit of food shopping, went for a short walk and went swimming. Fish and chips in the evening and hopefully a drama on the telly! A pleasant enough day, no dramas and I have a couple of books to read.

I would continue the day, just as planned.

An elderly lady in the nursing home where I worked used to say every morning “treat every day as if it’s your last as one day it will be”

This could be the last day for any of us, I wouldn't want to know if it were my last day but if I did then it would be spent with people I love to hopefully make a good memory for them.

If today’s my last day then it’s going to be pretty much my best because Ive been for a glorious walk early this morning with kedgeree polished off for brunch.

I shall pop to watch United in the ⚽️cup final with my dad just as I used to as a kid and win, lose or draw, the champagne 🍾 will opened (he taught me that losing well was an education in itself)

Home for Spaghetti Bolognese and some Malbec with MrPG this evening and so to bed…👋 sweet world!

Apart from the obvious, - being with my family, I would spend it enjoying nature on this amazing planet. I'm lucky enough to live near Dartmoor and that's where I would go, to be amongst the heather and the gorse, the ponies and the birds, the tors and the sweeping views. It's all so beautiful.

Probably with the neighbours. The roads would be blocked with people travelling to see friends/family. There's a pub and a village full of elderly musicians, it would be fun.

I would spend it (as I am at the moment) looking over the magical view from my home - a few family and friends around would be a bonus.
