Sounds a nightmare to me, it must cost you a fortune in providing food etc and then all those beds to change and all the washing to be done. They sound like freeloaders.

No not at all they all bring food down and usually treat us to a meal out. Only have 2 at a time so only one set of bed linen to do and most bring their own towels

They are all friends that go back many years and we have always been there for each other.

It sounds like you’re running a hotel! I couldn’t cope with so many visitors. Don’t these friends ever invite you to stay with them?

No not a hotel and yes they all invite us to theirs. Hopefully doing a tour to visit them later this year. I haven't been too well of late with cancer but feeling a lot better than I was, I think some were coming thinking I may not have much longer but although my cancer is incurable it is treatable so hoping for a bit more time.

We are lucky having friends scattered all over the country who come and visit us regularly and we love it. So far this year have had 7 couples to stay usually for around 3 to 4 nights with quite a few more booked in over the summer. Only thing is we Don't have time to book a trip away ourselvesgrin. So just in the process of tidying the motor home for a trip away probably just down to Cornwall.
