Others are probably aware of this but for those who aren’t.
Debenhams have changed their online store to a marketplace. This means that a lot of their products are sent directly from a third party supplier. Debenhams advertise free returns, but only if the item has come from Debenhams. I ordered 2 items last week from the same supplier, they arrived in the same package. Neither are suitable and I want to return them so will now have to pay £3.95. However, the returns page only allows me to return 1 item at a time so I will have to pay £7.90 to return both items separately, as well as find suitable packaging and printing the label.
You can no longer contact Debenhams by phone and it’s been 3 days since I emailed without a reply. The supplier has no phone number or email on their website.
Last time I will be ordering from Debenhams.
