Just that really. Seems that he went for a walk and hasn't returned.
He's ubiquitous on my various feeds. I've done the 5:2 and the 16:8.
Hope hes OK

He’s been missing for a while now and I do hope he’s ok. Apparently he left his phone on the beach so can’t be tracked. Those searching for him suggest he’s probably on land and he may have fallen or something similar.

Michael Moseley is my all time favourite TV doctor and Just One Thing and his dietary suggestions have helped me tremendously.

It must be so concerning for his wife and children as well. Fingers crossed.

🙏🙏that he is found and is okay..

Oh good heavens. He regularly writes for the Mail, and always talks a lot of sense about healthy eating.

He has been missing for more than 24 hours now. Must be very worrying for his family.

Poppyred Thu 06-Jun-24 14:12:16

Hope he’s found safe and sound.

Callistemon21 Thu 06-Jun-24 14:18:26

I do hope he's found soon.

Odd that he left his phone on the beach, I do hope he is all right, perhaps just lost.

I read that he left his phone in the apartment -

JenniferEccles Thu 06-Jun-24 14:24:36

I get the impression he’s pretty fit. He has written many times about the benefits to health of walking and how long walks are a regular part of his day.
Nevertheless, he’s been missing for a worrying length of time.
I do hope he’s ok.

Oh hope he turns up soon, bought his books, he’s a very interesting guy.
Hate when this happens! Just watched a doc on the actor Julian Sands, went missing in the Californian mountains - wasn’t a good outcome for him though 😩

Well fingers crossed this has a better ending. I’m a great fan of Michael Mosley, love the 5:2 and I’ve followed a lot of the advice on his podcasts. This must be a nightmare for his family.

Was just listening to him on the radio this morning.

Yongy Thu 06-Jun-24 15:46:41

It doesn't sound good, that Mosey has been missing for so long and cannot be tracked as he left his phone in his hotel room.

Urmstongran Thu 06-Jun-24 15:54:04

Apparently 67y old Michael Moseley went for a walk yesterday and when he hadn’t returned home by early evening his wife contacted the emergency services. So it’s almost 24 hours now. A very anxious time for his family and friends.
Drones are out circling the area on Simi (Greece) looking for him. I too hope he’s found safe very soon.

Urmstongran Thu 06-Jun-24 15:55:50

The area where the presenter went missing is considered “difficult as it is quite rocky”, Lefteris Papakalodoukas, the Symi mayor, told Kathimerini, the Greek daily newspaper.

Oh no I really like Michael Moseley. He has written so many good articles to help people who like him struggle to sleep.

I do hope he is found soon.

BlueBelle Thu 06-Jun-24 17:11:25

Not sure who he is but whoever he is I hope he’s found safe it’s always worrying when people don’t return when expected

nanaK54 Thu 06-Jun-24 17:14:10

Oh my word - I had no idea, I do hope that he is found safe and well

foxie48 Thu 06-Jun-24 17:16:53

I feel for his family. It's very hot there ATM with 30% humidity, they do need to find him quickly. It's really quite a small island.

Pantglas2 Thu 06-Jun-24 17:22:54

Strange to go for a walk in the Greek midday sun if that’s true…

Urmstongran Thu 06-Jun-24 17:27:30

Apologies. His name is spelt Mosley.

Allsorts Thu 06-Jun-24 17:31:09

Isn’t he diabetic? It seems an odd thing to do going out walking without his phone in the sun like that. Really hope he is found safe and well.

Urmstongran Thu 06-Jun-24 17:38:33

He did have T2 diabetes 10 years ago but reversed it permanently by adopting his much publicised eating plan.

Glorianny Thu 06-Jun-24 17:41:01

I do hope he is OK. Symi is a lovely island but very rocky with places where he could easily fall.
Can't stand his programme but I love the way his ideas are parodied on Dead Ringers

Delila Thu 06-Jun-24 17:46:36

I know that island. It has a very rough, inhospitable interior, and possibilities for walking are quite limited. Fingers crossed for his safety🤞🏼
