Good morning, Michael and all GNs from a rather grey South Yorkshire. Early rain is forecast but it might brighten up later. Finally got all my pots put back in place on my nice clean patio yesterday and sat outside last night with a celebratory glass of wine after giving all my plants a good watering. Nothing much planned today except an early food shop and general domestic tinkering.
Have the best day you can folks!

Good morning from an overcast Bristol.

The Spanish class went well; we discussed sustainable housing/high rise buildings. Many opinions, halting Spanish!

DD came over to lunch with DS and me. She got down to reducing my telephone and electricity bills. After lunch, she wrote the formal letter to complaint to the bank and mailed it to SiL's friend to check. This lady deals with such letters in another bank and has kindly offered to help. It was very hard, emotionally, for me and wrung me out.

They had to leave early to pick Iris up from school. Iris is going camping with her dad for two nights. He’s very good like that. DD and DGD are having a girly time (accompanied by DS!)
Today, I’m serving coffee at church chat thingy. I’ve made an almond and cherry tea loaf. Didn’t have many cherries - hey ho, it’ll have to do. Nicer than generic supermarket biscuits anyway.
Have a good weekend one and all. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from a clear-skied Cornwall, another hot day ahead I suspect. I've been sewing since 4am, attaching lace trim to a renovated top, and watching the sky lighten through the tree tops. A glorious time of day. Loads of tourists at Perranporth yesterday with lots of ice creams! Today I'd like to go to my allotment but my knee will decide... 😁 My son is back from exploring German tunnels so I'm hoping to catch up with him and hear about his adventure.

Good Morning Everyone ,
A dry but cloudy start here in brackley this morning.
After yesterdays chaos on the roads going to and from Bicester , due to an overturned HGV on the M40 causing problems traffic wise on roads around Bicester .
Today , I am hoping for a more scheduled journey into Bicester and back before I settle down to watch cycling on TV and have my usual Chinese take Away.
Take Care,
Mick
