Just cooling down here in Paphos (28°)
Might stay longer and avoid the UK political pantomime 🤣🙋‍♀️🌞

‘Sunny’ south - not, it started gloriously, clouds soon came in, 17, feels like 15, sweatshirt and jeans. I’ve not even deforested my legs yet this year!

South Wales, it has been going between sunny and overcast, a strong breeze which can still be chilly, no heating needed, sometimes a light cardigan indoors but a jacket needed outside. I have been disappointed in the weather during May and so far in June , not as warm as it has been for the last few years, even though the met office said it was the warmest May.🤷

Cold, raining, miserable in Mid Norfolk, CH on.

Showery and chilly here in East Yorkshire.
I am thoroughly miserable, my husband is in Andalucia😬.

It’s my youngest son’s 30th birthday today, he spent the first weeks of his life in a sunny Shropshire garden under a silver birch tree with a faithful black Labrador laid at the side of the pram.
That was one of the longest summers I can remember, it was beautiful.

I made such a fast recovery from my C section, our sunny garden, use of our lovely neighbours swimming pool and a fabulous girl from the nearest village who came and helped, it was such a happy time.

I do pray long lazy summer days are not a thing of the past🤞.

We are opening our garden for charity in July and I have just made 48 of 144 scones for the freezer as we serve cream teas, if it rains we have a lot of scones to get through.

No rain yet in mid Wales, it’s perfect gardening weather today - overcast, not too windy or too warm. Rain later tonight though, oh joy.

It looks lovely in Paris

OldFrill Sun 09-Jun-24 15:10:09

Well here on the north 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 coast it’s Jun9th and two fleeces on before the CH will be on!

Raining again in central France, 15°c feels like 10 !

Katyj Sun 09-Jun-24 14:26:32

Sunny, breezy and warmish here in Yorkshire. Not so this morning, cloudy and showery had the CH on for a hour.

I am going on holiday to Anglesey tomorrow and the top temperature for the week is twelve degrees!
Not very exited to be honest

It’s overcast here in London, I’m in a t-shirt so not cold but not that warm I think it’s about 16*.

MiniMoon Sun 09-Jun-24 14:15:06

It's only 11° in my part of Northumberland. It's cloudy with a cold north wind blowing. I'm waiting another hour and then I'm going to light the log burner. I am not putting the central heating on!

Germanshepherdsmum Sun 09-Jun-24 14:13:44

Chilly wind in north Norfolk, cloudy, and it’s been raining. Heating on.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 09-Jun-24 14:12:21

OK here on the South Downs. Warm enough to be in the garden with sunscreen and short sleeves, but I wouldn’t call it boiling hot!

Georgesgran Sun 09-Jun-24 14:02:42

It’s bright and sunny here in Durham ann but such a cold wind and only 15 degrees. It doesn’t look much better for the rest of the week either.

Romola Sun 09-Jun-24 14:01:02

North-east Fife has been lovely and sunny this morning, clouding over a bit now though.

What is the weather like where you are?
Here in the NW it is cold and pouring with rain.
We have had a very few warm, almost hot, days but not in June it is like early spring or Autumn.
My jumpers, ready washed to put away are back in use.
I haven’t changed to my summer duvet and feel I never will this year.
I am very loathe to put the CH on but I hate feeling so miserable.
Global warming?
It doesn’t seem to be happening here.
