What is the weather like where you are?
Here in the NW it is cold and pouring with rain.
We have had a very few warm, almost hot, days but not in June it is like early spring or Autumn.
My jumpers, ready washed to put away are back in use.
I haven’t changed to my summer duvet and feel I never will this year.
I am very loathe to put the CH on but I hate feeling so miserable.
Global warming?
It doesn’t seem to be happening here.

North-east Fife has been lovely and sunny this morning, clouding over a bit now though.

Georgesgran Sun 09-Jun-24 14:02:42

It’s bright and sunny here in Durham ann but such a cold wind and only 15 degrees. It doesn’t look much better for the rest of the week either.

OK here on the South Downs. Warm enough to be in the garden with sunscreen and short sleeves, but I wouldn’t call it boiling hot!

Chilly wind in north Norfolk, cloudy, and it’s been raining. Heating on.

MiniMoon Sun 09-Jun-24 14:15:06

It's only 11° in my part of Northumberland. It's cloudy with a cold north wind blowing. I'm waiting another hour and then I'm going to light the log burner. I am not putting the central heating on!

It’s overcast here in London, I’m in a t-shirt so not cold but not that warm I think it’s about 16*.

Roses Sun 09-Jun-24 14:23:47

I am going on holiday to Anglesey tomorrow and the top temperature for the week is twelve degrees!
Not very exited to be honest

Sunny, breezy and warmish here in Yorkshire. Not so this morning, cloudy and showery had the CH on for a hour.

Raining again in central France, 15°c feels like 10 !

Pantglas2 Sun 09-Jun-24 15:09:04

Well here on the north 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 coast it’s Jun9th and two fleeces on before the CH will be on!

OldFrill Sun 09-Jun-24 15:10:09

North central France 21° sunny and dry, some clouds.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 09-Jun-24 15:23:12

It looks lovely in Paris

Casdon Sun 09-Jun-24 15:29:27

No rain yet in mid Wales, it’s perfect gardening weather today - overcast, not too windy or too warm. Rain later tonight though, oh joy.

Showery and chilly here in East Yorkshire.
I am thoroughly miserable, my husband is in Andalucia😬.

It’s my youngest son’s 30th birthday today, he spent the first weeks of his life in a sunny Shropshire garden under a silver birch tree with a faithful black Labrador laid at the side of the pram.
That was one of the longest summers I can remember, it was beautiful.

I made such a fast recovery from my C section, our sunny garden, use of our lovely neighbours swimming pool and a fabulous girl from the nearest village who came and helped, it was such a happy time.

I do pray long lazy summer days are not a thing of the past🤞.

We are opening our garden for charity in July and I have just made 48 of 144 scones for the freezer as we serve cream teas, if it rains we have a lot of scones to get through.

Cold, raining, miserable in Mid Norfolk, CH on.

South Wales, it has been going between sunny and overcast, a strong breeze which can still be chilly, no heating needed, sometimes a light cardigan indoors but a jacket needed outside. I have been disappointed in the weather during May and so far in June , not as warm as it has been for the last few years, even though the met office said it was the warmest May.🤷

Jaxjacky Sun 09-Jun-24 15:58:26

‘Sunny’ south - not, it started gloriously, clouds soon came in, 17, feels like 15, sweatshirt and jeans. I’ve not even deforested my legs yet this year!

BlueBelle Sun 09-Jun-24 16:01:48

I m sitting with my hot water bottle blooming cold 13/14*
Totally fed up with it East coast East Anglia

GrannyGravy13 Sun 09-Jun-24 16:04:49

Just cooling down here in Paphos (28°)
Might stay longer and avoid the UK political pantomime 🤣🙋‍♀️🌞

Our part of the South West is being battered by a strong, cold wind. The car tells me it’s 17 degrees, it feels more like 12 degrees out there. I’m trying to avoid putting the heating on but definitely need long sleeves and layers. June feels more like March. We’ve managed one day sitting outside, the rest of the time it’s been far too cold. Nope, not enjoying this.

Mamie Sun 09-Jun-24 16:08:51

It is 18° and sunny here in Normandy, but the wind is very cold and it has been 6° overnight. Nevertheless we have just lit the barbecue for a boned shoulder of lamb marinaded in herbs and olive oil. 😊

Mollygo Sun 09-Jun-24 16:14:51

Today is cold 13° and windy which makes it colder, but at least it’s fine in our part of the North West. Occasional sunny days are followed by 1 or 2 rainy ones. I had stocked up my winter stuff ready to vacuum pack them away, but I’ve needed to use some of it. The CH has gone on for an hour after morning walks on several days.
Roll on summer!

Gymstagran Sun 09-Jun-24 16:24:11

West Midlands 13° and cold. There was a bit of warm sun this morning but a cold wind. Its now overcast. I have the heating on.

Charleygirl5 Sun 09-Jun-24 16:41:38

A pleasant sunny morning in NW London. Now 15C, dull and cold. I will switch the heating on for an hour or two when I have my supper around 8pm.

I refuse to switch the heating on now- it will be the longest day in 2 weeks!
