Angela Rayner is a scrounger, grifter and shameless hypocrite.
Do people still stamp their feet in anger?
What "back then" inconvenience would annoy today's youngsters?

Welcome dear Kitcheners. Enjoy the buffet and make yourselves comfortable. You are all extra special peoples (as our grandson used to say).
and a huge hug.
Hope you’ve enjoyed your holiday llfl, your treats for Milo and Ripley look interesting!
Thinking of all our kitchen pals in need of love and support just now ❤️
Indeed brook my little woes are insignificant ❤️
Would have been our 54th wedding anniversary today. Such a sad day without him. Thinking of NannyG4 and all those with worries or troubles.
Aww Doodle, sending you a gentle hug.💐
Thinking of all with worries, illness or sorrow. 🙏💕
I'm staying well back cos I have Covid. 😷😭
Just checking out our new abode
Still teen sitting which at the moment entails me downstairs with a cold white wine and the GS’s in their rooms interacting with their pals digitally.
I shall take myself up to the top of the house (third floor no children or pets allowed) and enjoy my sea view (ok it’s the entry point of the Thames to the sea)
(((Hugs))) to all 💋

Gentle hugs to you Doodle - we were married exactly a week later (25 July 1970 but only made it to our 47th together. )
I hope you had a better day for your wedding - it blew a real Fife hooley for ours. 💐

Well kitchen people, my flight is currently 45 minutes late…
Hoping you’re back home now llfl or at least well on your way!
I’m sitting on the Oxford bus at Heathrow waiting for it to set off!
Home llfl, MrJ flew to Belfast this morning from Southampton, no problems, he’s there for the family golf day tomorrow.
Hot here today, 28 at least, I’m just in from the pub and watered the greenhouse.
NannyG4 I’m pleased there’s some solace walking by the sea for you.
Yia thinking of you. You too Doodle anniversaries will be raw.
❤️
Jaxjacky and Ladyleftfieldlover weren’t you the lucky ones. We were supposed to be in Jersey tonight but are now back home! First of all flight delayed due the issues and then our cases were loaded and we went through passport control. Queuing in the tunnel to get on plane when told it had technical issues. After 20mins in the hot tunnel we were told to return to departure lounge. Captain came and told us there was a leak in the oxygen supply but when they found it it was easy to fix. Two hours later they couldn’t fix it and flight cancelled another hour before they unloaded bags!
They have fixed us with with a flight on Sunday but that too presents problems. Al least the cases are packed 🤣
Thanks RosiesMaw and everyone for their kind thoughts.
No wind on our wedding day but overcast with a bit of sun. Followed by honeymoon in Devon where it rained almost every day and we sat in deckchairs on the beach in our pacamacs 😊
Oh Scapa1 what a shame and a disappointment for you, I’d be stressed out but there’s nothing you can do - I hope Sunday is trouble free and you can enjoy your holiday and relax
Hoping Mr J enjoys his golf day tomorrow Jax - it’s only been 22° here today but cloudy and windy too
Doodle ❤️
Scapal I call your experience a buggeration. Major computer problems have been responsible for causing mayhem at various airports. I pity families with young children. It must a nightmare to maintain one's sanity when the children become restless.
Doodle The account of your honeymoon made me smile. Such memories are bitter sweet.
Jax I trust that your husband has decent weather for the golf. The championship held at Troon has been somewhat challenging for the contestants.
GrannyGravy It is lovely to have your company.
Ladyleftfieldlover It's perfectly proper that Milo and Ripley have special treats to look forward to.
My thoughts continue to be with those of our Kitcheners with sorrows to bear.
Good afternoon kitcheners and Soop in particular. Scapa1 I really hope tomorrow's trip is successful for you. Doodle memories are bitter sweet at times. ❤️
I have been to Aldi and stocked up. The bedding is on the whirly and nearly dry. I've also cleaned the bathroom and the upholstery in the car and done some weeding. For lunch I had a toasted bagel with cream cheese and gravadlax and a mustard and dill dressing. It was lovely. Tonight I'm having a burger with red cabbage and mango slaw which I'll make later. I'll add a few chips. I have peanut butter cookies to make for dgs1 for tomorrow so I'd best get cracking. Enjoy your afternoon kitcheners
Good afternoon kitchen pals, just back from a shopping trip to Tesco - I had a very long list but got most of it
DD1 and family are arriving tomorrow lunchtime, I’m picking them up from the airport then we’re all coming back here. DD2 and family will also be coming round so I’ll have a house full - it’ll be noisy and chaotic with the 4 DGC all together again and both daughters but hopefully enjoyable - as long as they don’t all fall out 🤦♀️
You’ve been busy this morning grandmabatty - well done, I’ve got my bathroom cleaning event lined up for this afternoon
Hoping you and MrSoop are both doing well, soop
DGS should be on his way back from his week long Scout camp just now, I think he’s had an amazing time, judging by the photos they’ve posted. Meanwhile DGD is on a day out to Blair Atholl Jamboree with Cubs
Sending hugs to all our kitchen pals needing one just now ❤️
Have a lovely time Brook with your Cambridge family. The rain has just started here sadly, however the bedding is dry, ironed and back on the bed. I have other stuff but this is my current favourite
Hi folks, I am still teen sitting have brought them back here for a couple of nights.
I have forgotten how much teenage boys eat and how long they can sleep for 🤣
They are helping DH BBQ this evening, I really should get on and start making the salads 🥗🍔🥩🍤
Good afternoon alll.
We have had no sun here today but it has been warm again.
The night was hot and uncomfortable and I feel tired today.
I am going out with my friend across the road later, a new to us, Italian.
It is quite small so we hope we like it.
It is going to take a show of strength to get ready but I must do it.
I am truly grateful that I still can get out regularly and mostly enjoy it but just occasionally it is an effort.
I think often of our dear friends who for various reasons can’t get out and my thoughts are with them.
We may have rain later so I hope you all enjoy the best evening you can.
Hello kitchen people. It’s just started raining - at least OH cut the lawns this morning.
He has gone to his Bee club. Swopping stories about honey and bee stings, I imagine!
I’m still feeling tired from my Helsinki jaunt. So much walking.
Have a good evening.
Oh bum Scapal how frustrating, I really hope tomorrow all is well.
How lovely brook I’m sure it’ll all go swimmingly, have fun.
I rang MrJ this morning, it’s his birthday today, 62, he didn’t get in until 3am, as one of nine, eight of whom are there for the golf, I could say family catch-up. Guinness may have played a part! He’s back tomorrow.
It started raining about 4 and is still going, never mind, saves watering, I’m having liver for dinner, fish last night, MrJ likes neither, so treats for me.
As always, kitcheners with sorrows x
Jaxjacky enjoy your dinner. I like liver but only occasionally fish on the other hand I could eat everyday.
Just in bed after our ok but very overpriced Italian meal.
Service was scrappy at best with a young waiter who was obviously new and made many mistakes.
It was very busy with a lot of people being regulars who the owners came out to greet personally!!
It takes all sorts.
We were told our taxi was outside, it wasn’t and we got very wet in the several minutes waiting for it to arrive.
It is certainly off my list.
Oh well, we live and learn.
