Coloured toilet paper

Our school had Izal. One thing it was great for was wrapping round a comb so you could play it like a kazoo.

I seem to remember someone telling me that coloured toilet paper poisoned the fish. That couldn't be true could it?

We had coloured years ago but mum stopped buying it as she said it blocked the pipes (we're On a septic tank, more like it was expensive and she was a single mum with 4 girls).

To be honest I haven't seen coloured loo paper for years.

i don't think there is the market for it now that coloured bathroom ware has gone out of fashion.

My DHS loved the Betty Crocker or Dr. Oeker ? poo cakes that we made - bought in a box from ASDA. - they seem to have discontinued them! I guess someone complained. In my experience, ALL small

I also use Who Gives A Crap. I get their bamboo paper. Wouldnt be able to afford it if had a young family but there is only me & the cat so get what I really like & do like theirs!

At my boarding school every sheet of Izal was printed with the name and address of the school. I often wondered why. I also wonder how our sewers coped with all that newspaper.

I have always disliked coloured toilet paper, and find the type pictured here extremely crude and not at all funny, but I respect anyone else's right to find it funny.

I do like patterned loo paper for the downstairs loo.

Forget pastels........thu company sells the most vivid loo roll I've ever seen! I bought a couple of black ones purely as a decorative addition (talking point!) for our cloakroom.

I’ve just bought the poo roll
from Asda - £2.50 for 4. It’ll amuse the DGSs. Always get Christmas loo roll too, usually from M&S.

I used to do that too with Bronco. I think both were medicated so it's a wonder we weren't poisoned. Happy days!

How on earth did the sewers cope with newspapers instead of loo roll? I can't remember being told not to flush it away, my nana used the radio times!

I would love to have pastel coloured toilet paper, unfortunately I was diagnosed many years ago with Lichen Sclerosus which is a nasty skin condition. I cannot use coloured or scented toilet roll, soap or perfumed toiletries. I remember asking Simple Soap? NO SOAP.

I remember coming out of the co op, when a woman was returning a toilet roll, because she had bought the wrong colour, it was green ..and her toilet was painted blue...so the toilet roll had to match..

How lucky we were to be so easily amused - I wish my GC were. Small GS would love that loo roll - I won't be buying any though.

One of my children brought some loo roll home from a school trip to China. It was so rough it included chunks of wood.
We used to call Izal ‘tracing paper’. It was useless, even newspaper was more absorbent.

I wonder if many are aware that quite a few so called eco toilet rolls are shipped from China? It’s worth checking your favourite brand.

I have chronic cystitis, and coloured, patterned or perfumed toilet roll is the stuff of the devil IMO.

I use Naked Sprout, it's unbleached so coloured light brown. Excellent quality

At Christmas I buy rolls with The Snowman on them.
My autistic 26 year old son appreciates them but the grandchildren never seem to notice!

I always buy these in Aldi and also the Snowman kitchen rolls. Bit of fun. 😝
