Mum uses her Damart catalogue for almost everything clothes wise including gillets.They do sizes up to 28 I think.

I have one of these...very warm but pack down v small into one of the pockets....washed it and it came up good as new ....I think they do them in s,m ,L Etc? ... had mine about 5 years ...looks goid as new

I’m another fan of Uniqlo, although I have never bought from them online, only on the high street.

I seem to remember a lot of grumbling on Mumsnet about their returns and refunds.

All of mine were bought in the Oxford shop, so no experience of returns and refunds. But very happy with my various down items from Uniqlo.

Not a size 20 but my silver Patagonia gilet is lightweight but very warm. Try outdoor clothing shops.

I was converted by my daughter-in-law to Patagonia.

Another vote for Landsend. I have 3 in different weights and colours. Pockets, yes, and they wash really well.

I got one from Cotton Traders. Not expensive. Only wanted for gardening but have worn alot under a coat. Lots of pockets and it covers my bum!

I bought mine from Seasalt. Excellent gilet, washable and it has pockets too.

I've had a couple of lovely ones from Edinburgh Woollen Mill. They've lasted well too.

I have one Feather & Down, in burgundy which I bought from M&S outlet about 6 months ago.. reduced to £30... from £49

It's absolutely superb.. only weights about 3 ounces. but is superbly thin and warm.. .

It has 2 exterior pockets and 2 deep interior pockets.
