Good Morning Everyone,
Another bright sunny start to what could be a rather hot day today here in brackley.

return home after lunch may do a shop after .
Take Care,
Mick

Morning, blue skies in S Hants. Voluntary phone today, quiz tonight, meanwhile I’ll be closing blinds and opening windows as the sun moves round.
I’m so sorry to hear MissOops is still suffering, alongside the frustration and worry for all of you.

Good morning all and it going to be a warm one.

Yesterday ds2 and family came but a 1hr 20 min journey took 2 hours. Accident on the M25 and volume of traffic. It’s getting to be almost impossible to travel at weekends. Dd and little gd were poorly so they didn’t arrive at all , other son and family were out for gd3’s birthday. 15 today . We have enough food left over for us to last us a week 🤣. Oh well! It was lovely to see them.

Today I have chimes group and we’ll sit in the garden under the trees by the pond. The neighbours are in for a real treat! (Not).🤣.
This afternoon we have the music group from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Always a lot of fun, and very well attended.

Poor Oops family. Surely it would be better for her to be admitted to hospital so they can put her on drips etc. when my Dd was continually being sick she was on re hydration and anti sickness drips. Praying that you get some answers and recovery soon 🙏.

Happy holidays to all who are going away.

Take care in this heat 🌸

Poor Oops family, I do hope a solution is found soon for everyone’s sakes; can’t go on like this.

Lovely morning so scrubbing the outdoor table and chairs is the job for today. Otherwise gardener will be here and I must get on with the book for Thursday’s meeting. Not much get up and go today but cannot blame the weather.

Good morning from a gloriously sunny W Kent. Cleaner coming this morning so we shall be straight for the week. I must get a short walk in today, DH still not up to that yet.
So sorry to read that MissOops is still so poorly
Mick hope your appointment goes well
Happy hols

Morning everyone,

I think we are going to have another hot day today. The washing I’ve done should soon dry.

Didn’t sleep very well last night as it was too muggy. Even swapping the duvet to a summer weight one made little difference. Oh well, c’est la vie.

Hope all those who are unwell or who have ones unwell, see improvement very soon.

Good morning from Durham. Day 3 of wall to wall sunshine.
DGS1 enjoyed his visit to The Hoppings - my purse suffered - it’s a licence to print money!
DGS2 has been unwell over the weekend - perhaps the heat, although they’re just back from Spain.
I, too, slept well, but feel stiff and lethargic today. I’ve DD2’s ironing to tackle at some point, then out for a late tea with a friend.
Hoping our holiday makers enjoy their breaks.
Fingers crossed MissOops can be helped today. I had a UTI a while ago Oops and tried 3 lots of Cystopurin, without success and still ended up on antibiotics, so don’t wait too long to seek help.
Best wishes to all. X

Good morning from a sunny NE.
No plans for today so will just enjoy sitting in the garden with my book.
DD rang from Brussels yesterday and we had a nice chat. She is driving to Germany today for a meeting taking several colleagues with her. She says it is forecast to be hot, thank goodness for air con.
Sorry to hear MissOops is still suffering, rehydration is essential so hope the treatment today helps.
Happy ho
I days to those about to depart.

Happy holidays 🙄

Good morning from a sunny and warm east midlands

Taichinan Mon 24-Jun-24 09:47:34

Good morning all, and so good to know that this beautiful weather seems to be all over the British Isles. There's not a cloud in the sky here which is unusual enough to remark upon 😉
I hope your cardiology appointment goes well today Mick - you're probably there already!
I'm so sorry for the Oops family and I do hope the nurse's visits will be helpful
Lovely to see you back posting karmalady and as well-occupied and productive as always.
After beach tai chi on Saturday I had a quiet day yesterday - lots of WhatsApp family chat and photos. It's such a boon having that as although the Bluetooth hearing aids are good, conversations with me are peppered with mis-hearings and repetitions and not a little frustration on all sides!
Today we have a tai chi committee meeting which will no doubt be brief in this weather!
Well I was up early, showered and coiffured, breakfasted, washing done and power bank fully charged because our electricity supplier said that power would be off between 9am and 4pm for essential maintenance work. Not yet it isn't! Surely I haven't got the date wrong! Moi?
Have a good day everyone, and safe travels on your various journeys x

Good morning from West Sussex by the sea. Love the sunshine and blue skies but it will be too hot soon, to do anything outside. We are putting up trellis panels in the garden so that I can grow climbers safely away from the fence.

We had a lovely afternoon with youngest DGDs, 9 and 5, while their parents packed up the kitchen contents ready for major refurb starting in July.

We watched the football with DD1 and SiL and then drove sadly home 😢. At least the roads were clear - I agree, Gingster and RosiesMaw, weekend travel is a nightmare. I don’t know what the answer is.

I really hope MissOops will find relief soon 💐

I hope your appointment goes well and your buses run to time Mick.

Good morning! What a lovely warm day. I slept really well, which I think was down to all the fresh air I had yesterday. Today I will be tackling as much washing as I can and getting it line dried.
Some light housework and hopefully some reading later.
A nice piece of gammon for tea.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and those who are poorly feel better soon.

Taichinan Mon 24-Jun-24 10:16:01

OK. Cue laughter. The power will be off NEXT Monday 😂😂😂

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
After a restful day re my sprained back, today I will get on with things a bit more. Washing is out in the sun and I’ll take a bit of vitamin D.
The abscess which had calmed down is making its presence felt, not much but enough to make me realise I must face up to that molar going.
Blinking cat wakes me at all hours, she is spoilt, but it’s worth it.
Next month I feed my neighbour’s cat for two weeks, the sibling of my own who decided life was better here and no hard feelings all round.
Poor MissOops💐
.

Taichinan wouldn’t dream of it🤣🤣

Liberty Mon 24-Jun-24 11:18:40

At least Taichinan you’ve been given plenty of notice!

NannyG4 Mon 24-Jun-24 11:20:40
