Angela Rayner ghastly trouser suit

Unfortunately, I think there's so much more to worry about that particular individual than what she looks like or her poor fashion sense…..

She looked terrible, also Lisa Tandy's suit looked far too tight, you could see the outline of her pants as she went into No 10.

First impressions do make an impression but ...........? Angela Rayner is not my favourite politician but her fashion sense is not important!

That is not what is happening.

But when government ministers, of both sexes and all genders, are in the public eye in a professional situation, I for one, want them to be dressed in a mnner that enables them to come across as professional and competent, and ill fitting or scruffy clothes, do not fill that requirement - and that applies to men as well as women.

It is just unfortunate that while a man only needs to get into a dark suit, put on a shirt, and occasionally a tie, for women, where the range of colour, styles and fabrics available to them is so much larger, so is the opportunity to get it badly wrong. Unfortunately many women MP's of all parties, do have a tendency to wear jackets that are too small for them. I have no idea why.

I was surprised she wasn’t wearing red.

How lovely! Let’s slag off the party on day one by criticising their fashion sense.

She was clean and tidy. Frankly I don’t care what any of them wear, look like or sound like if they do a good job, time will tell.

I loved Mrs Sunak’s dress, I like her style.

We all make fashion mistakes occasionally. I will judge on the way they do their jobs not on what they wear.

I like Angela. I don't care what she's wearing.

GSM I always thought Mrs Sunak dressed well.

It wasnt a trouser suit it was her pyjamas she slept in.

She is Deputy PM now either she grows up and behaves like a serious polititian or she won’t last long, personally I would have liked her to have a high profile job like Home Secretary.
