How lovely! Letās slag off the party on day one by criticising their fashion sense.
She was clean and tidy. Frankly I donāt care what any of them wear, look like or sound like if they do a good job, time will tell.

OMG the Deputy PM looked a fright walking along Downing Street this afternoon.
Showwaddywaddy called and want their suit back!! š¤£
She looks like she either has no bra on or a badly fitting one. Her boobs are almost down to the waistband of her trousers.

I thought Keir Starnerās wife got it absolutely right. She looked very classy.
Itās okay to comment on the clothes somebody is wearing. Itās not okay to refer to them as looking like a tart.

I am actually shocked at the amount of rude and very bitchy, uncalled for comments towards these women because of their choice of style. They've all just worked their buts off for the past 6 weeks. Regardless of which party you support, these women should be afforded a little respect. I'm sure some of their male colleagues could use some fashion tips. And have you all looked at yourselves in the mirror recently. Perhaps you fancy yourselves as fashion influences.
Yes, I look at myself quite often but I am not Deputy Prime Minister. š
I thought Rachel Reeves looked smart and Yvette Cooper looked very smart. Another lady in a dark trouser suit looked like she meant business too. Lisa Nandyās suit was way too tight and although her jacket had a zip there is no way she could fasten that. Starmerās wife looked elegant and classy.

Why was Mrs Sunak dressed as a zebra? Does any of this really matter?
Standing outside No 10 Downing Street after your spouse has just suffered a landslide defeat is presumably never going to be in any political partnerās top ten moments. But Akshata Murty, standing by (or near) her husband while he delivered his farewell speech, ended her 19 months as PMās wife as she began it ā using key moments to champion independent designers.
This time it was the turn of Indian label Ka-Sha ā a striking high-necked graphic, red, navy and white cotton dress, which is available to buy for Ā£395 from Omi Na Na, an online boutique which brings together sustainable fashion brands. She may have been standing slightly behind her husband, as is the custom, but this was no wallflower of a dress. It was bold, patriotic and nodded to her heritage.
I've never seen a red, white and blue zebra.
I havenāt seen any of the outfits, suitable or not, but I noticed this thread and thought about all the comments about Boris.
If itās OK to comment on menās appearance, then why not on womenās appearance?
Shall I go and look?
Well Mrs Sunak looked a bit odd in her choice of dress - it was just one of those days.
Her choice of clothing today shows her for what she is
Busy? Preoccupied? Tired?
Victoria Starmer looked lovely.
GSM you have made it clear on countless posts that you dislike Angela Rayner. However , saying that " whatever she wears, she looks like a tart" is a new low for you.

I am rather partial to a tart, lemon, strawberry, apple.
My favourite is an Italian one which when translated nannaās tart almonds, delicious.
It has to be lemon.
Although my Mum used to make excellent tarts, treacle, egg custard, apple pies .......
I'm wearing the same colour to a wedding tomorrow, so a tick from me for that. (Mines a dress).
AR's jacket is smart, it's the trousers that look wrong.
PS I think this thread might have been better put under the heading, Syle and Beauty.

I thought the colour was fabulous and infintely preferred it to the scarlet she so often wears (frequently with ghastly puffed sleeves)
No, on balance it got a āļø from me.
The colour was lovely.
The fit wasn't so good.

Dear God, Angela looked awful ! She may, as some have suggested, been up all night but how long does it take to change into some trousers that have seen an iron and a jacket! This woman is going to be representing this country on the world stage and needs to urgently seek fashion advice.
I just hope she is not going to continue to show her breasts in totally unsuitable blouses at PMQ's. This country is already a laughing stock, let's not make it worse.
I donāt know any ātartsā, do they wear green trouser suits ?
And have you all looked at yourselves in the mirror recently
Of courseā¦.Thats when Iād take it off!

No, on balance it got a āļø from me.
Anyway, my post wasn't bile so I have no apology to make.
Angela might look at the photos herself later and think "What was I thinking!".
I thought I looked smart at DD's graduation in a new (well-fitting) trouser suit but on reflection, it was the wrong choice.
Angela's still got lovely hair, though. š

I can only assume those dishing out this bile are absolute babes themselves.
Maybe a few photos would assist?Yeah, I am now, but I made a few fashion mistakes in my time even when I modelled for Vogue.
Sorry to hear that, me too in the early days.

She has no taste and no idea how to dress for the part. Whatever she wears, she looks like a tart.
I realise youāre upset GSM, but thereās no need to take it out on someoneās clothing choices.
I have always despised AR. She is devoid of taste, class and manners. Her choice of clothing today shows her for what she is.
GSM: A tart you say? Would you use a similar word for a man who had impregnated a woman at a young age? Is there an equivalent in the vocabulary of the gutter I wonder. Anyone any ideas?
