Unfortunately Jane and flappergirl - it was skirt suits mainly which didn't suit her because of her waistline.
The off white trouser suit above is nice as it covers her middle bit. 👍

I think Diana had a raw deal. She married a man who still loved another woman. How many of us would have reacted badly if we found out that the man we married only a couple of years before was continuing a relationship with the woman he was seeing before we married him?

I don’t think Meghan is at all like Diana. Diana came from a wealthy family and so she wasn’t interested in money. Meghan has milked her royal connections to make herself rich. That’s a very big difference.

I liked the pictures of Catherine in trouser suits the best, but Meghan looked okay too.

The dead can’t defend themselves, you don't know the whole picture. What we do know is Diana lit up a room. People wanted to be with her, she was kind and compassionate. She had lots of problems because of an insecure childhood. To find out she was never loved by the husband she adored must have broken her again. She was publicly betrayed. How would you feel? She died young leaving her two boys.

My thoughts too Allsorts.
I was older than Diana, but we all dressed in that same sort of ‘uniform’ and somehow identified with her - no idea why.
It brought home how fragile life could be when a young mum went off for a break and never came back.

Was new word to me too Rosiemaw. Couldn't find the exact spelling (found puelline) but I think it means girlish or childish. Bumface?
