How long to change to FF Broadband?

This might be a silly question, but does anyone know how long it takes to get full fibre broadband installed, please?

I have an engineer coming tomorrow, but I don't know when, and I now realise I don't really know what's involved - just that they need to come to the house. I have a Zoom class tomorrow too, and I don't know whether I should cancel. If it's a five minute job I'll probably just dip out of the class if he comes when it's on, but if it takes ages it would be better to skip it than to risk disrupting it for the others.

You’ll have copper cable in there now Doodledog the existing conduit for the landline and wifi.

Yes, I believe we do have copper. It's a bit embarrassing, as it's clear I don't have much idea about what exactly is involved in full fibre - I don't really know what it means 😂

This makes having conversations with agents difficult, as they seem to work on the assumption that customers are a bit less dim than I am.

No connection charge here either, or charge for the new modem /umesh system.
