Well, here in Lancashire it's been sun, sun, sun wall-to-wall so far. So......fingers crossed. God alone knows we do NOT need any more rain.

I have a yellow weather warning for rain for the whole of today and so far just one light shower! Forecast usually wrong.

My weather forecast for yesterday said rain after 7 p.m. It started at a quarter to five, then went off and came back in force at 7.44.

Today's weather was meant to be rain all day, according to yesterday's forecast and dry all day according to this morning's.

Thus far, it has been drizzle most of the day.

Beautiful blue sky first thing this morning and I put my washing out. The clouds have turned ominously grey and yesterday’s forecast for today was a 70% chance of rain so… plus ça change. East Midlands.

It’s just started raining, but the forecast assures me that it will stop in 47 minutes!

Have been checking weather forecast for West Country every day for forthcoming wedding. It changes every day! British weather likes to keep us guessing! And messing with my minimal packing plans!

It rained. I'm not superstitious so I'm still hoping for that end of July heatwave. Or maybe I'll wait for August.
