We've just consumed roast beef cooked by moi, husband?'s washed up and cleared the decks. I have a large glass of Malbec, I'm about to go out on the patio and enjoy the evening sun hallelujah!"where've you been sun?" I shall come in when it goes down and read my book on the sofa in the kitchen. I may briefly crerp in the living at 9ish grab my lap top to watch the Jenna Coleman drama. I expect other half to have morphed into one of the tens of thousands of Ron Managers around the country shouting at the tv by then, whilst the kids are furiously WhstsApping. Thank God, apart from the tears of joy/despair, tomorrow It'll all be over!

On my lonesome here - I’m surprised my youngest son hasn’t invited me to his house to watch it with the family - probably watching it at a friend’s house or has friends over. Never mind - I’m too old to shout enthusiastically or jump in the air.

DS2 has joined his brother in law who lives in Norway - they drove down to Berlin through Denmark yesterday. Tonight they're at one of the fan zones (or whatever they're called) -enjoying the craic no doubt.

DH who never, ever watches sport of any kind is thinking of watching the match.

I am with my partner who has cooked my dinner. All garden watered, kitchen all cleaned down, lying on the settee reading Gransnet.
My daughter loves football but she is mid flight to America so will miss it. Son is watching in a pub in the North West near Lytham.
Neighbour warned us we would hear him shouting, I think we will all be.
