My nanna used to say 'Fancy' and 'Go on' when being told a tasty bit of gossip. We used to say 'Far out' and 'Blimey O'Reilly '. Also, why do people say 'sloth' so it rhymes with moth nowadays, instead of rhyming with both? I know the answer, the wretched ever burgeoning US of A's language. Apparently David Attenborough provoked a storm of discussion online when he correctly pronounced it. It's an ongoing joke between my DG2 and me.
