Whenever I see this ad, it makes me think of a loo seat, not a light bulb.
Does anyone else have any Odd Add's that make them smile?

Soon as I saw it I too thought
'loo seat' !

Me too.
And I like the flying goats who all look like Richard Branson.

Yup, loo seat😄
Not sure about ads being odd tho there are quite a few now where you wonder what the product actually is that somebody is wittering about or dancing about.
Then those silly ads about funeral plans, ‘hello Susan, come in and have a cuppa we’re just buying a funeral plan’ said very brightly. Or middle aged women discussing how they can go clubbing in their bulky pee pants.😬

Or middle aged women discussing how they can go clubbing in their bulky pee pants.

I shout at them "Do your pelvic floor exercises!"
If they don't work at their age, then something is wrong and needs a stitch or two!

My pet hate is the ad where a blond women runs across the screen into another room in a frenzy of delight because she loves the smell of another woman's air freshener so much.

Somebody in ad-land still thinks it's OK to see women portrayed like this.

Mind you men don't fare much better in some ads. No wonder some people pay not to see ads.

My DH hates the ones advertising recliner chairs and baths that you can sit up in. He says the people in the ads are clearly not in need of either.

I think the ad about pure cremation or some such thing where the husband is in the bath is weird, he carries on a conversation with his wife hovering in a half open door as if protecting his modesty. I don’t know about anyone else but I would just go in and chat to him, afterall the viewer can see the man in the bath but not the whole of his peeping wife.
What’s that all about?

I absolutely cannot stand ANY of the funeral plan ads and “bulky pee pants” woman gets on my nerves as does the women on the loo asking why women still use sanitary towels as “wee pads”!

One of the creepiest is the KFC ad where people turn into some kind of mind controlled weirdos dancing like chickens I presume. To congregate around a chicken on a plinth which they will - this being KFC - eat later.
