Hi I also suffer (ed)! With exactly the same as you, hard to get to sleep, not every night, but then waking 2 or 3 in the morning and never being able to return to a good restful sleep. I was getting so stressed about it, tired during the day, every time I sat down I would nod off!
Someone suggested magnesium glycinate capsules. Well…. I have been taking 2 each evening about 90 minutes or so before my usual bedtime between 10 and 10.30 for the last 5 weeks and I can honestly say I have been having such good sleeps- what a difference!! Not every night- yet, I think it takes a couple of months to really kick in but I do definitely recommend you try it! I also spray my pillow with lavender mist and do relaxation breathing while I am just nodding off! Please give it a try!!
