I suppose that if your response to the food was good, they will choose to use just that bit.. The Ivy in Brighton appears to have immaculate uniforms...

2 or 3 times a week I am asked for feedback from shops I have visited such as M and S and Waitrose, also delivery personnel.

Recently I was asked about my experience at The Ivy where we had treated the family to Sunday Breakfast. The food was good, but there were crumbs on the table which the young waiter cleared up quickly. One of the staff was in a jacket that needed a good clean and also the staff in jackets had to button them up, which did not look good on one or two people where it appeared to be a struggle to fasten them up ! (I am not getting at large people, I have my own issues in that department).

I got a request for feedback in which I said the food was good but listed the sartorial shabbiness. I did add that the females on reception looked immaculate.

I then had a reply saying they were pleased we had enjoyed the meal but made no reference to my criticisms. DH thinks it was an AI response.

When I am next near The Ivy I will ask to speak to someone in charge and tell them their Feedback system is not fit for purpose.
