Decanter/jug on The One Show

Does anyone know where the blue/green decanter/jug on the coffee table on the set of The One Show is from, please?

I really like it, and would like to get one for my DIL's birthday.

Try typing Polspotten green glass jug in to Google

LucyAnna2 Mon 02-Sept-24 19:25:18

Is it this one?

Doodledog Mon 02-Sept-24 19:41:57

It's very similar, but I think it has more of a graduated colour from blue to green.

Thank you! How did you do that? Or do you have one?

If you can manage to freeze or pause the frame that shows the jug, you might be able to “Search what you see” on Google. Aim your phone at the item you want to search (you’ll have to get close) and get it into the frame on your phone screen and then press the little viewing frame on the RH side instead of typing into the box.

It’s brilliant.

Is that what we call a “Glug jug”,?

I remember one Antiques Roadshow where somebody had brought two which matched and the expert had to go all round the houses to avoid referring to the excellent pair of jugs! ☺️☺️☺️☺️

Thanks, I'll have a try. I don't usually watch, but will remember tomorrow and have a go with my phone. The one Lucyanna linked to is very nice, but the colours of the one on TV would be perfect for my DIL.

I tried Pols Potten, and found another similar but different one in John Lewis. I hadn't heard of the brand, but they have some lovely items.

Pair of jugs grin.

Yours are lovely too, Norah.

I may be wrong, but I think it may be the way the light is on the programme - not sure Polspotten jugs come in ‘ombré’.
My daughter has one she bought in Denmark a few years ago.

We have a yellow 'glug' jug. We love it.

I had one of those - sent it to the charity shop years ago!

Oh dear.

Oh, they're only worth about £20. Phew!

Oh we called them guggle jugs, we had the green fish!

Doodledog, LauraNorderr, and LucyAnna2, you have opened a can of worms here.
I love coloured glass and had not heard of Pols Potten.
Now I feel a buying urge coming on, and I really do not need any more.
But thanks anyway.

If you come across an ombre jug like the one LucyAnna linked to, please let me know?
