Morning Mick, morning All. Our corner of Somerset is forecast to be dry. Not looked out yet to check.

Goodness, yesterday was a wet and miserable day. After a lie in the admin was completed, other than preparing a meal the rest of the day was spent reading.

Off to meet a friend this morning, dithering about the best way to travel. A 30 minute walk and an hour on a bus or drive for 45 minutes to a park and ride. Mr C was no help yesterday. When asked for his opinion he helpfully suggested I go whichever way suited me best. Both have disadvantages. Oh well, I’ll get there one way or the other, I feel coin tossing coming on. Minor in the scheme of things and whichever way I travel it will be good to catch up with a friend.

Hope Monday is kind to us all.

Good morning from a calm and dry Torbay.

Yesterday, I managed to assemble the two tables to make up the new nest of tables, which arrived on Thursday. Breaking into the box in which they arrived was the hardest part! All credit to the manufacturer (in Vietnam) as they came with clear instructions and all the required bolts and washers. I chose them, along with a sideboard and coffee table, online from Dunelm and I’m delighted. So far, I’ve had no follow up emails requesting a review either which is a refreshing change from many companies.

This morning, I have a blood test then I’ll attend Move It Or Lose It, although moving still isn’t easy for my right knee or ankle.

Belated birthday greetings to monk08 and I hope Blossoming continues to feel better.
I expect Iris will soon find new friends to help her settle in high school. It must be hard to be treated differently at an age when young people can be self conscious, grandMattie.

I hope today is the start of a good week for you all. 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩

Good morning from dry s somerset

I plan to make tomato sauce from my frozen and fresh tomatoes today and I need to start to clean my kitchen cupboards, they all need a sort and wipe down inside, part of my winter-cleaning process

A walk later this morning as the lanes will be too muddy for nice cycling. ILaterI have the cuffs to make for my jacket, it fits very nicely and is cosy, suits me. This afternoon I need to give my sewing room and machines a very good clean, this soft corduroy has shed everywhere plus there are many many bits from the never-ending upicking I had to do

Washing will be on the line today too with a nice purposeful day ahead of me

Have a good day

Good morning from a dark Bristol. Today is set to be mostly dry!
The stuffed lemur toy was to be put in a Noah’s ark, part of the Creation month in CofE churches. We had puffins, owls, tigers….
Iris is neurally divergent so dreads anything mathematical and spelling. The school offers help but, together with her (now less obvious) physical disability, singles her out a bit more. Naturally, she hates it. That and the fact that most of her friends are now in a different school…
Today, I’m going to help sort out the toddler toys/equipment.in the afternoon, I’m going to a friend’s house to help myself to some Bramley apples. I’m much taller than her, so should find it easier! 😀
Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
