Have been watching Vienna Blood, and am now lusting after the utterly delicious Max, played by Matthew Beard, new actor to me, oh my goodness not only is he beautiful, but his voice….
My daughter said, know your age mum, it should be the other lead, Oskar you should be swooning over, haha age is only a number!

I don't have any crushes. I'd rather have a bar of chocolate

Clawdy Thu 19-Sept-24 19:03:17

Always....Thierry Henry!

I had a crush on Clint Eastwood when I was much younger but no crushes now.

David Essex will always be top of my list, but I would't kick Colin Firth out of bed.

This is not a latest crush. He has been for many years.
David Ginola.

Sam Elliott, even at 80 he still has a lovely head of hair and that cute head on one side tilt

I am into CourtTV - I love the Lawyers - I love to watch the Cross-examinations. Brilliant !

I like to have a crush (and a bar of chocolate too) on the go, it’s good for the soul. At the moment, I have no idea why, because he died years ago, and anyway I don’t ever go for blond men, it’s Tom Petty.

Lisaangel10 Thu 19-Sept-24 19:57:48

The Special One. Jose Mourinho.

Jaxjacky Thu 19-Sept-24 20:39:38

Not recent, Idris Elba, I can easily leave the chocolate!

Deedaa Thu 19-Sept-24 20:45:11

I do rather lust after Tom Burke (Cormoran Strike) there's something about his scarred lip that makes him look very kissable!

Georgesgran Thu 19-Sept-24 20:47:02

Hands off petra
Loved him from his playing days (long hair) for Newcastle.
David is ageing like fine wine!

Nannylovesshopping Thu 19-Sept-24 20:58:41

Oh there’s some crackers here, keep them coming😀

It would have to be Robson Green as Jordy in Grantchester. He has eyes that you could get lost in.

Tenko Thu 19-Sept-24 21:02:57

Viggo Mortenson as Aragon in lord of the Rings , long term crush

Biscuitmuncher Thu 19-Sept-24 21:07:03

Jack Stein I love red hair and he'd make a lovely dinner

Sago Thu 19-Sept-24 21:18:32

Rufus Sewell.

I used to fancy him, too (And loved "Luther"), until I noticed what bowed legs he's got. That put me off.

Sago, how many times do I have to tell you - he's mine. Along with a bar of cadbury's whole nut.

Lucyd Thu 19-Sept-24 21:46:36

Another vote for the gorgeous Robson Green. Have had a soft spot for him since he was in Casualty, thought he was great in Soldier, Soldier (was teaching overseas in an army school and late husband was in the army so it was particularly relevant) and have enjoyed watching his career.

I would do a week on and a week off if you’re happy to share.
You can keep the chocolate😉.

I agree with Nannylovesshopping, Matthew Beard is absolutely beautiful. As is George Russell, F1 driver for Mercedes in case you haven't come across him. Both with cheekbones to die for, wonderful eyes and lovely voices ... I'm nearly 79, but if the time comes when I can't appreciate a gorgeous man then life will no longer be worth living.

And if I'm only allowed to appreciate the more vintage type, then Sam Neill will do just fine!

paddyann54 Thu 19-Sept-24 22:38:15

Ooh, yes. We don't see enough of him.

Sam Neill - yes.

However, if I had to choose a dinner date I'd pick Bob Mortimer.
