Morning all, not sure what the weather has in store today?

Had a lovely lunch and catch up with friends yesterday, it was only when I was half way home I realised I hadn’t paid. Fortunately it was our friends Tea Shop, I shall pay my debt later in the week 🙀

I intend to sort out the the guest rooms wardrobes today, they have been used as a dumping ground whilst the work was being carried out.

Hope your DH is feeling better Sar53 so you can enjoy Kos together.

Good morning from Shropshire where a dry day is forecast🥳

Yesterday it rained all day.The photo is just down the lane from my daughters house.SIL took the children to school in the tractor. The owner of the vehicle in the picture was sitting on the roof of his car and was rescued by the fire service.

Today is my DD2’s birthday. She has EDS but doesn’t let it define her.I am so proud of her and all she has achieved.

Yesterday was a busy day with admin.Today we will go and see mum.

Grandmabatty I am glad the guardianship is moving along. It has been such a long time getting sorted.

grandMattie I agree with others re your lodger.I remember at the time how demanding she was.

Wishing everyone the best day possible🦩

Good morning from dull, cold and damp south Glos, rain yet again is forecast today.
Definitely very wise to be ultra cautious grandMattie, I remember the dreadful behaviour you had to endure.
A very pleasant day yesterday, not doing much but enjoying just doing needlework and ‘going with the flow’ as my friend would say.
Today an early Ocado delivery, I need to tidy the freezer and sort out something for lunch. DH has a hospital appointment so he won’t be here - I quite fancy a jacket potato and salad.
Take care everyone 🌹

Yesterday it rained all day but this morning looks dry here in Lancashire. I have some things to take to a charity shop so need to go out.

Morning Mick, morning All from a dark, damp corner of Somerset.

Travelled home from an enjoyable few days with good friends, we stayed in a hotel together. After the first dreadful night I thankfully slept well. A good break

Total contrast today, off to the eye hospital for the first of two appointments this week, 90 minutes to two hours each way. I’m cautiously optimistic, there just may finally be a diagnosis by the end of the week. It feels as if I’ve been shunted from clinic to clinic, so far with no outcome although I appreciate the care it has been frustrating and a little worrying.

Sadly I agree with you and others grandmattie, please be more than wary. I remember how debilitating your last encounter was. Time to think about yourself.

With thoughts to all managing challenges. Hope Monday is kind to us all.

Good morning from s somerset, it might be mainly dry today, not inspiring but dry (ish)

I was very busy yesterday, some mending, some making, some tidying. It all adds up

Out for a walk by 9, I always meet lots of people with the same purpose, an hello and a cheery smile, it sets us up for the day, as does the exercise

Soup making later and I will be making more undies, already cut out from unused nighties. The weight is very slowly shedding from me, I will never again be slim but I have gone down an undie size. I made three yesterday and three more to be made today, very pretty too and a good lot of money saved

I am not planning anything this week, I love evolving days, it is very mindful and definitely living in the moment

Have a good day

Exactly, Bellas. I shall take my time and be careful in the extreme - I’m very susceptible to emotional blackmail.
She was very demanding and rather infantile. She was a psychologist before becoming a priest. Curiously, she was one of the most pessimistic people I have ever come across.
Having been widowed two months earlier, I still had to support her emotionally for those months. Sadly, my “Good Samaritan” action wore me out…

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 8° and dry. GrandMattie I tend to think the same as Bellasnana. She could be after something.
Yesterday the weather ended up dreich so no outside playing for Dgs2. He was mostly good. He's dropped his nap and the day was long(for both of us). I was very tired by night time and had an early night.
Today will be a rerun of yesterday minus playgroup. Have a good day all

Good morning from Malta where another bright day is dawning.

I remember your ‘lodger’ grandMattie, hard to think it’s two years ago. If I were you I’d be very wary of her as she sounds like a user and may have re-established contact because she wants something.

Had a good day with the boys who both, very obligingly, took a nap just at the right time for me to watch Alcaraz playing his match! I am hoping for a similar scenario today but not holding my breath!😄

I’m off to look after them when I’ve drunk my coffee.

Glad you enjoyed your trip ‘Sar’. Did you spot any ‘genuine fake watches’! I laughed when I saw the signs for them in Turkey!😂

Hope you all have a good day.☀️

Good morning from a very windy day in Kos.
We had our catamaran trip to Bodrun yesterday, it was windy and the sea was quite rough.
We had an enjoyable few hours wandering around the 'designer' shops and bought a couple of things.
We arrived back at the hotel about 6'sh. DH was unwell so I spent the evening chatting to a couple from Grimsby in the bar.
A lazy day today.
Best wishes to all xx

White rabbits🐇🐇🐇 from Bristol. It’s dark and cool, but as yet still dry.
Yesterday, I helped briefly at the church toddler group. I had prepared an activity for them. Most children found it boring, but one little girl was hooked and was at the craft table the whole time I was there! The resulting “fruit” Will be added to the Harvest display on Sunday.
A huge Tesco shop ensued; my larder was bare as I hadn’t shopped for nearly a month. Many of the shelves were empty, especially the fresh fruit and veg, but also various groceries.
The afternoon was quiet - I did some sewing, made a batch of FGT2 SOAP dish for the freezer…
Out of the blue, I received a mail from my “lodger”. I had her for 4 months at the end of 2022 after she had an upper leg amputation. She ignored me until now, nearly two years later. I was very hurt. I don’t know whether to respond or not. I think I’ll leave it for a while.
I’ve got outside tai-chi today, if it isn’t too cold or wet. I need to rest as tomorrow is going to be full on.
Have a good day. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
