Yes nanna8 I know where you’re coming from. I sleep much better when I know I’ve not much on the next day. For this reason now I try and condense my chores, we pick the grandchildren up twice a week, so I make those my busy days with appointments and cleaning. It’s usually the weekend and maybe Monday that’s quiet. I look forward those days 😃

Not weird the rare day that occurs even in retirement nothing planned. Its do what you want day for you so do that exactly what you want.
It’s a rare day on your own without any kind of commitments to relish then get back to hustle and bustle of reality.

I sometimes think these are the best days. Excluding family get togethers, of course. It is such a luxury to have a whole day spread out with no social events ,no appointments, no pressing things you have to do. I must be getting b. old because I appreciate these days more and more ( and I sleep better the night before, too !) Do others have this feeling or am I just becoming weird in my old age ?
